CRE7600ADW Maytag Wall Oven - Instructions

Two screws out, the old bake element came out easily, was able to disconnect very easily from the clip wiring, then replaced with new. I even was able to replace the oven light bulb at the same time. A real cinch.

I have no doubt I saved a hundred dollars doing this myself.

Luckily fixing it was as easy as unscrewing the old one (held in with one philips screw on each side), popping the connected wires off (they just slide on and off of connecting tabs), and doing the reverse for installation. Super easy job.

I unplugged the oven, sat the flash light in the oven and removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I pulled the element out and diconnected the two metal wire clasps from the element. The previous repair stories were extremely helpful! The most difficult part was unhooking the old element and I assume some of that was contributed by it's age. Installing was a piece of cake!

turned off power removed old element .connected new element reinstalled works fine .part fit was correct part first time something rare in this day and age.

Simple repair.Just make sure you measure the length of element from back wall to plug in,width,and width of holes in back of oven.Simple repair with correct measurements.Pluged it in replaced screws plugged power back to unit , worked like a charm....Thank You!!!

Removed back of stove (6 screws), puled clips loose. Two screws inside oven, pulled out old element. slid new one in, replaced screws, slid on clips replaced back panel. Don't forget to unplug the stove frist.

2. Removed old bulb
3. Screwed in new bulb
4. Replaced glass cover
5. Mixed drink & baked cupcakes

I watched the video provided by Part Select before I ordered the part. I removed the old element by taking out two screws and unplugging it from the wires. I put the new element in place, connected the wire to the right side and then opened up the back of the range to connect the left side. The repair was easy, but the video did not sh ... Read more ow that you had to connect the left side from the rear of the appliance. It was easy to figure out. The appliance works like a charm...no like an oven.

We repalced the heating element n no time. Easy to do and the price couldn't be beat!

Removed old element (two screws) unclipped two wires. Clipped the two wires to the new element (one at each end), reinserted new element, replaced the two screws. Done. Oh, flipped the circuit breaker back on:-)

unscrewed the old baking element, took the yellow wire off, and put the yellow wire onto the new baking element and screwed it back onto the oven. Took less than 15 minutes.
