ART6114 Amana Range - Instructions

first removed 3 screws in front of the range then lift up the top glass and removed 1 screw that is holding the element and then disconnect the wires that are connect on the element then put the new element on place and wired it test it and works good

Removed two screws securing heating element. Removed broken element and disconnected wires. Removed back panel of oven, unplugged from outlet, installed new element, attaching 2 screws. From back side of oven reattached 2 wires, replaced back panel and plugged in. Pretty simple!

After receiving the part I was able to quickly remove the old piece and replace with the new. For this project you have to remove the back of the oven to remove the electrical attachments.

I turned off the breaker and unscrewed the element. Removed the plug connection and once I got the correct part, we plugged it in, screwed it back into the oven wall and done! It was simple. I flipped the circuit breaker just in case, and then unscrewed the bracket for the old heatng element. Disconnected the two plugs, connected the plugs for the new element, and screwed the new bracket back in.

Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Plug the wires onto the new bake element and re-screw back into place.

First, I unplugged the power cord from the receptacle. I then removed two philiphead screws that hold the element in place. I the pulled the element out about an inch and a half . Very simple fix. I pulled the stove away from the wall and unplugged from outlet. Open the oven door and remove the oven racks. I used a phillips screw driver to remove the 2 screws holding the element and then pulled out. There were 2 wires attached to the element, those just pull off. Removed 3 screws, lifted the top control panel. Adapted new plastic end panel and replaced new end cap an refastened with original screws.

Unscrewed all the phillips screws holding the door together. Re-assembly indicates that you want to note exactly how the sides overlap the front and back steel panels, possibly take a cellphone picture before starting. Oven was missing the broiler element when I moved in so the connector/wires to plug the broiler were no longer visable in the main part of the oven (otherwise the repair would take 2 minutes). Moved oven away from wall and unplugged. Unscrewed sheet metal on the back of oven and found the broiler wires (the only two NOT connected to somet ... Read more hing). Fed the wires back into the oven and plugged in the broiler. Attached the broilers to the top hooks. Put sheet metal back on. Everything worked fine. I wouldn't say I know much about fixing things, but this was a very straight-forward job.

Removed oven door by pulling off of hinges. Then removed screws that held door frame together. Replaced glass. Reassembled.

Removed screws on edges of door. Romove front panel. Remove several screws around glass. Replace inner glass and replace screws. A little tricky reinstalling trim around door front.
