ART31 Refrigerator - Instructions

Noticed the evaporator fan not spinning but would spin with a finger jump start. After looking up the part on the PartSelect liner parts diagram I found the installation video that really helped. My husband is an appliance man and he did the work.

1st; Remove all shelving
2nd; Phillips screws,= remove bottom cover, and bottom vent
3rd; Sensor is straight up- plug & play (see pic)!
DO NOT MAN-HANDLE.!
4th; Re-install vent & cover 'SLOWLY'.!

Read more ss panel back on, plug in and allow 8 hours to cool! Works like new again! Hope it goes another 10 years

remove inside cover. meit ice collected, remove old part and install new part. about 1 hr.

Using a screwdriver

I placed the glass into the frame. I attempted to slide the frame into the refrigerator over the two crisper drawers. It wouldn't go.

My son came to my rescue. "Mother, the drawers slide into the frame". He took the drawers out, put the frame in the refrigerator, placed the glass cover into the frame, then slide the drawers ... Read more back into the rungs made for them in the frame. Easy peasy! ;

use kitchen knife to pry out. replaced switch assemble and pressed back into place. Could not have done this with out help from previous customers. Thanks

removed old and installed new compartment door by hand.

install ice maker 2 screws wire harness pluged in done

Was told capacitor was problem 90% of the time.Capacior was not the problem.Bad start relay.

Not so good that was not the problem. Fan is not seized and all the lights work and display is not on but lights up as well. No start once plugged back in after 15 minutes of being unplugged. Nothing same no change.

Take screws out pull panel out unconnect the part connect new one and your done

Put gaskets in the car dash to get warm (90 outside), Pulled off old gasket and brought new one in and just inserted it into the slot around door. Was a little buckled but it straightened out after a few hours. Was very easy!

The glass shelf replacement simply fits into the plastic frame which holds it and completes the shelf unit above the crisper bins.
