I had to cut the leads on the thermostat to enable the wire terminal clips to fit on the leads. Not hard at all when the right tools are available. Care must be used because the leads are subject to being damaged. “ Hold leads with narrow needle nose pliers while cutting!

Based on other similar posted repairs, I purchased the bottom switch. Upon removing the control panel to replace the switch, I found the blue 22 gauge wire was broken at the spade terminal. Repair unsuccessful because they sent the wrong part, even after I questioned their selection. It is amazing how a company as large as Whirlpool cannot clearly indicate to the people who work for them how to order the correct part. Took microwave off the mount, removed all the outer covers except the face, used metal screwdriver to short the big capacitor to keep from being shocked, removed magnetron and replaced with new part. Put back together, hung on wall, and finished. I used a youtube video and it turned into a very simple fix.

I removed the microwave to install a back splash and found the support edge on the backplate had broken off and was missing. I searched for parts for the microwave and found them on PartsSelect.com. Easy to order, and was shipped promptly.

Overall a very simple repair.

On top front of the microwave are two Philip's head screws holding the rail on. Remove these screws and the rail snap out the old filter (noting the dark side down) then snapping the new filter in. Replace rail. 10 to 15 minute task.

Ordered the glass tray and installed it. Received the orderin about two days.

Took out the turntable parts to ensure I ordered the correct cooking tray. Matching those with photos of related parts on PartSelect worked great. Put turntable drive and support ring in place and cooking tray went in very easily. Plan to order a second one to have on hand for this rental property.

Unscrewed glass panel, removed old bulb, cleaned glass panel and installed new bulb. Screwed panel back into place.

Removed the face plate above the door (2 Phillips screws.) Removed existing filter and replaced with the new one purchased. Reinstalled the face plate.

Glass plate arrived in less than two days. Placed the glass plate in Microwave and presto the microwave works like a charm.

submitted manufacturer info to website and voila! a new glass turntable arrived in 2 days. I don't do well with computers, my 23 yr. old daughter was impressed......couldn't be easier! thanx! will definitely revisit your site

All I had to do was open the microwave door and place the turntable on the designated grooves, wha lah it fit. I am now back in business. Thanks to partselect, I found my replacement, ordered and it was shipped in no time.
