I first thought the burner was bad but after some
testing realized that the Spark Ignition Module was
faulty. You have to remove the screws from the four
burners to remove them and the stove top. Then it

I removed all 4 burners 2 screws holding each,replaced the ignition module,wire for wire,reassembled after cleaning the stovetop.I,m my wife's hero.

Philips is all that's needed. Remove the burners (2 screws each) lift off top of stove, replace the ignition module. put all back together and your done. Local parts store wanted $80+ for the module. PartSelect only $50 total cost and it hit my mailbox in TWO days! Thank you PartSelect.

Removed two screws per burner. Unhook wires. Putting back broke slide on connector and had to replace. That took longer than the whole job. I ordered the part before 3:00 pm and it was at my house tjhe next morning which was hard to believe. The instructions that come with part made no sense what so ever. Unscrewed the burners,lifted the top up,unplugged the burners.Took out the bad module,making sure of where the wires went and put them in the same spots on the new module,reconnected the burners lowered the top screwed the burners back in and the burners lit.

First I removed the knobs on the range, then the front cover and then removed the two screws that hold each burner in place. I removed the top and removed the Module and started replacing the burners and front ocver and knobs. The Module worked GREAT. Thanks for your fast service in getting me the parts.

Removed the top, 4 screws and pulled the contact wires off. Replaced the module and connected the contacts. Put back the screws and the top. Removed two screws and disconnected the ignition wire. Then connected ignition wire to new burner and installed two screws

Wow, ordered the part here and it arrived in 18 hours!! Job was fairly straight forward but the screw holding it in place was corroded and stuck. Several heating and cooling cycles with a torch and some spray lube and lots of patience and I finally rocked the screw lose.

I removed the cartridge from the range and used a screw driver to remove the screws holding the burners assembly in the housing. (Some prefer to remove the burner from the top by removing the two screws, but I've had trouble realigning the parts that way.) I removed the ignition wire and the screw holding the bad electrode in the burner ... Read more . I then installed the new electrode, attached the ignition wire, put the burners assembly back into the housing, and put the housing back into the range.

The earlier reviews said very easy and 15 minutes for beginners. They were right on, except I could not get the old screw out no matter what I tried. I eventually had to drill it out and put in a self tapping new screw. This was a first for me. Then it took 15 minutes or less and works fine again. Hopefully next time someone will tell me ... No problem removing the burners. Removing the old initors was a different story. The tiny screws that hold the ignitor in place were baked in and could not be removed with a screw driver. I resorted to a hi temp epoxy to secure the ignitor flanges to the burner and now the all burners ignite as designed.

Easily replaced the stovetop burner bowls by removing the old ones and replacing with the new ones.
