I was worried that it would be a hard long job but was pleasantly surprised when it only took a few minutes.

First I turned off the gas supply to the oven and disconnected it. I then pull the oven out away from the wall. I then unplugged the power cord. I removed the oven door by lifting it off of it spring hinges. I then removed a lower plate that covers the burner element by pressing in a manner that it popped off. I then located the igni ... Read more tor and removed 3 screws. All were easily removed. Carefully, I pulled the igniter out and removed the wires from the wires that supplied the current to the ignitor. Installation followed by working the steps above in reverse order.

Removed old igniter held by one bolt & nut, diconected two leads to igniter. Gas mainifold remained in place during repair. Replaced with new igniter, using old mounting bracket and wire ties. Total repair time 30min, oven repair service wanted to charge $80 just for diagnosis. Total cost of repair doing it myself was $50.

I researched the needed part (igniter)and purchased it on line. It arrived promoptly. I called a repair person who arrived and installed the new part. All is well.

Took off oven door, took out racks and bottom plate, removed burner assembly disconnected wires, removed old ignitor put new one in holder, connected wires, put burner assembly back, checked if it worked and replaced racks ect..No tools needed.

r & r hinge. very poor pivot pin which leads to frequent replacement of hinge assembly, cheaply made, weak spot is hinge pin pivot rivet.

I took oven door apart and replaced old gasket with new one.

Easy fix, push in the new set button, slight twist and "done". The part fit perfectly and was an exact duplicate of the other set buttons.

Received the part the day after ordering. Appreciated the quick service and repair took less than a minute.

Roommate did the repair..so I don't know. I did the research online, the igniter solved the problem. Saved us buying a new oven!

removed one screw lifted he brner took retainer off unpluged the igniter it had broken porcelen reversed the procedure everything worked fine

after checking on line using model number and calling parts select ,the spark module was found to be defective, placed my order with them and at a very reasonable price replacedthe wires and module, very simple repair ,unplugging the range first I simlply removed the top by removing the two screws on each burner ,lifting off the top after ... Read more disconnecting the wires from the burners ,carefule not to break the ends of the wires off and mixing them up, I simpley on screwed the module and removed each wire seperatly and replaced them one by one on the new module replaced the module on the range, hooked the wires up and presto done screwed downed the burners ,gas range works great thank you parts select for your parts and help,you saved me a bundle of money

The first igniter was received broken. A replacement was received within 5 days. It was very easy to install once the protective cover was placed over the igniter end. In my opinion, this part should be sold with the protective cover already in place.

After too many years of trying to make do with worn out burner bowls, I finally searched on line for Caloric replacement parts. My order arrived THE NEXT DAY(!!!)and make my old range look almost new! They are so shiny and clean, and fit perfectly. I am so pleased, and wish I had ordered from PartSelect years ago! Removed old igniter and replaced with new one.Tested oven and it went on. You need a phillips screwdriver to remove two screws and a small socket for the third screw to remove the igniter cage. Then pull out the wires from under the oven and disconnect. Reverse procedure to install new igniter. Reuse original connectors. Be very careful ... Read more with the igniter because the tip is very fragile and can break easily.
