ADU6 Amana Dishwasher - Instructions

Pull the old Door Gasket out.
Then figure out, how the new one should fit in the door.
Push the new one softly in, and the repair was perfect done.

Removed the end cap from the rack guide.Removed broken roller and stud.Slid on new rollers and studs attached to dishrack reinstalled end caps.Total time less then 15 minutes.Easy job.

Just remove the 4 screws at the lower rear inside the washer to remove screen holder...then unscrew the Piston and Nut Assembly by hand. Put in the new unit, reattach the screen holder with the 4 screws...and the job is done. Probably takes less than 5 minutes....very easy.

Snapped on new roller with fingers. Super easy!

My repair was so simple it didn't require tools. It was more trouble finding the website to purchase that replacement part. The new roller just snaps on the rack.

I removed 4 screws holding the panel below the door in place. I removed the cable from the two pulleys and the two extention springs. Reattached the cable assembly to the springs. Put the cable under the pulley and attached the eyelet on each side. Put the 4 screws and panel back.

Used ascrewdriver to bend the metal rail that the roller rolls on. The part that needed to be bent holds the end cap on. Once bent, the end cap pops off. The the old roller can be removed and the new roller instsalled. The rail then needs to be re-bent.

There were no assembly instructions with the part but I read some of the repair stories on the website and got the jest of what to do. It was a very easy fix. Remove the lower access panel, replace and reposition the cable assy. Replace access panel and I'm good to go!

First removed the end cover and clip on the end of the rack slide. Used a flat head screwdriver to push in the clip and carefully pried it out. Then using the same screwdriver, pried up on the rack roller clip attached to the dish rack. Once clip was free of the rack, slid the rack roller off through the front of the slider. Slid the ... Read more new rack roller into the slider and snapped the roller clip onto the dish rack in the same place the old one was. Carefully twisted the plastic end cover and clip back onto the rack slider. Job complete. The trickest part of the job is removing the rack slider end cover.

Recieved universal parts f/ pump & mtr assy. sorted them out, picked the ones I needed to complete my repair. Installed new assy, checked operation and was completly done in about an hour.

Turn water off and unplug unit first. I remove the 2 retaining screws under counter, pulled out dishwasher. I laid it on it's side to get to pump, loosen up Hose clamps on inlet and outlet ports on pump. You may need a towel or rags to soak up a small amount of water from hoses and old pump. Removed old pump and installed new one in reverse order. I had to use the 90* adapter hose and the white adapter for my drain hose.The kit contains all adapters and it all fits perfect. Reinstalled and tested unit worked great!!!

Similar to what others had described. Removed bottom panel to access cable and spring area to replace cable, but plastic pulley around which the cable rode had a broken flange for about 1/2" of the circumference. It needed a new pully and after checking several sources, none was available. I used a 1 3/8" snap ring and ground off both ends removing the ears so that slightly over one half of the ring was left. This allowed me to force the open portion of the snap ring over the inner diameter of the pulley leaving the built up portion of the snap ring to fill the void left by the broken flange which satisfactorly retained the cable throughout the opening and closing of the door.

Read more er pair to remove cutting blade. replaced impeller and blade ttaking care to keep track of screws nuts and bolts and older parts to make sure of assembly. turning dishwasher upside down makes for easy parts instalment. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO DISASEMBLY AND PUT TOGETHER IN REVERSE ORDER GOOD LUCK parts ordered to replace solonoid kit as it feels hot and still have burning bakelite odor.
