A Home Depot employee advised me on how to enter all my oven information found on the front of my oven on parts.com. I submitted parts information as stated, also very easy. Waited for my husband to do it, but when he didn't, I tried it. Very simple! Just pulled the old gasket out of the pinch pin holes in the door, then replaced it. Tuck the one end into the hole at the bottom of the door, then match up the little pinch pins on the gasket with the holes in the door - matches up perfectly! Be sure to tuck in ... Read more each of pinch pins till they sort of "snap" into each hole. Took me 5 minutes, tops. Works great now, no more lost heat around the edge of the door.

I took out ruined racks. Cleaned the oven, getting rid of all the melted plastic. Once oven was sparkling clean, I slid in the new racks I bought from here. (The easiest part).

I'm very thankful to have found this site. My oven has been "out of order" for over 3 years. It's so nice to be able to use it again! =)

Removed the approximatly 10 screws that hold on both the upper and lower pieces of sheet metal that cover the back of the oven. Removed the screw holding in the temp sensor. Unplugged and removed the old sensor. Plugged in and installed the new sensor (using one of the included adapter wires supplied with the sensor). Put the 2 pieces ... First I removed a screw that held the element in place then disconnected the two wires . Then I just reattached the two wires put the screw back in place and was done in about 10 minutes. Fairly easy fix, I had this go out a few years ago and had a repairman fix it, and saw how easy it was, so this time I did it myself. Easy job!!

Took the old levelling leg out and screw the new one in.

Very easy repair. Turn the power off to the oven, take out two screws and unhook electrical connections. Replace with the new baking element and you are done. Takes only about 10 minutes and the oven works like new.

Put a new one in.

removed screws and disconnected the wires removed element and did the replacement less than 15 minutes, and cost less than locally by 25.00 and received part the next day. EXCELLENT

From reading other reviews i thought I would have to dis-assemble the door but when I saw the new part I realized I would not have to, simply pop the beveled clips w/pocket knife and pop in the new seal clips. the ends tucked very nicely, an 80+ yr. old would have no trouble if they had their wits.

Plugs in easily, screws to secure

After watching the instructional video (and flipping the breaker to my range) it was straight forward and simple. The heating element was a little bent so didn’t originally sit square/flat to the bottom of the oven so I uninstalled, bent it gently a little and reinstalled and it set down flat. It still didn’t take 15 minutes.

Very easy fix. This is done through the oven door. Don't pull it out or do anything exotic. Turn the breaker off. Don't skip this Since you're dealing with 220v here. Shine a bright light into the back of the oven to identify the element attachment screws. Use a number 2 Phillips to remove the 2 screws holding the element in place. Pull ... Read more the element straight out. This may require a bit of manipulation wiggling back an forth. Don't yank to hard. There was probably 6" of free wire. Next free the wires attached via spade terminals from the old element. Putt the new element in place and reattach the wires. Carefully push wires back thru the holes and secure with the screws. Reset the breaker and turn it on. Totally simple. My oven was 18 years old and the screws came right out. I expected difficulty but none encountered.

Instructions with parts are minimal. Looked at exploded drawing and read other installation descriptions on site. From the read I knew it was easier than it looked. Opened oven door. Unscrewed screws about 1/3 of the way up on both sides on inside face of door; these are the only thing attaching the hinges to the door. (Save all the ... Read more screws you remove - they make work better than the ones with the parts.) The door can now be pulled off the range. I pulled the broken part out of the right side with pliers. Remove the screws below and about 8" up from the hinge on each side. When this is done you can pull the hinge out from the slot from the front. Open the new hinges up and they will slip through these same openings and position them as the ones you removed were positioned. Replace the screws. On the parts I received the lower screw holes on the hinge were not tapped. The original screws worked a bit like self-tapping ones. If you lose any parts or need to get to the hinge from the back you can take out the drawer.

Bought bottom element as suggested. Instruction video seemed straight forward. Not exactly.When I unscrewed the element and gently pulled it out to access the connector, one came out an inch or two, however the left side would not slide out. Tugged a little and it released the connector which jumped back inside the oven. Had to slide the ... Read more oven out from counter, remove a rear covering plate (2 screws and no problem) and found the new element connectors protruded through the rear of the stove for connection. They were covered by the large rear plate I had removed. Screwed the plate back on and, slid the stove back into position, restored power and all was good. Stove heats properly. Happy.
