It was easy except that I had to make just a small modification to the electrical connection (holes were to small). . . . Other than that, its was a breeze to install.

First I made sure I turned off the breakers in the circuit box that controlled the circuits for the ovens . Then I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. That took a while to get off. And I searched for heat-resistant electric tape to replace it (because, it must have served some purpose if they had it on originally). The wires hooked onto the spade connectors for the new elements with no problem. I pushed them back into the hole in the back of the oven, replaced the screws, turned the breakers back on, and it worked great from there on.

Turned off power. Removed two screws. Took out old element. Used pliers to remove connectors. Installed new element. Set screws. Turned on power. Works.

Repair was very easy-make sure you shut the electricity off at the breaker box-having the oven control off does not kill the electricty to the element . Removed the screws, pull out the element, disconnected two wires, re-attach to the new element, install the screws.

First I turned off the power at the fuse box, then removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires and replaced with the new element. Very Easy!

Turned off power to oven. Removed two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled out the element far enough to get to the wires so I could disconnect them. I connected the new element and screwed it back in. 10 mins tops!!!

Ordering and shipment of the part were quick and easy. The price was excellent too. It was the easiest repair we ever had to do to an appliance. After removing the screws that held the element in place and disconnected the part, my husband immediately connected the new part. It took less than 15 minutes.

Just make sure to unplug oven while repairing.

Turned the wire protector to the side. Turned out the old bulb and replaced it with the new. Turned the wire protector back in place and I'm like new.

I thought because the broiler was off that I could remove the element with not problem. As I was pulling the element out, it sparked, melting something in the back I couldn't see at the time. I immediately went to the breaker box and turned the power to the oven off. After I found the website online I was very gratified to see how easy ... Read more it was to identify the element I needed and order it. I removed the old element. One of the wires from the element slipped through the hole in the back of the oven. To get at it I had to unscrew the four screws around the outside edge of the oven and pull the whole oven out. I had a table handy that I pulled up next to the oven and set it on without disconnecting the main wiring. After getting the oven out I removed the six or so screws on the coverplate and easily found the loose wire. I pushed the wire back through the hole in the back of the oven and made sure it would not fall back into the hole. I put the back plate on with all its screws; pushed the oven back into its hole and screwed the four screws in around the edge that hold the oven in. Then I attatched the broiler element to the spade connectors and screwed it back in place. I turned the breaker switch back on and tested it. It works.

After turning off power, I removed the two screws and pulled the element and wires out, removed the wires and then attached them to the new element and replaced the screws. However, this did NOT correct the problem. The broiler did not work until I tried several times turning it on and off. It then worked once but then did not. It worke ... Read more d once more after several tries. I then called a repairman suspecting the control board. He confirmed this and tested the old element which was in good working order after all. A new board has been ordered.
