Unscrew the bottom cover, remove the old ignitor. Reverse the process to install. Hardest part was getting the bottom cover screws out because of rust. Otherwise, very simple.

Removed burner pan screws,igniters, gas tubes & burners. Changed 2 igniters, removed rust & repainted ends of 2 of the tubes (heatproof paint). New burners were made a hair smaller than original but locked in O.K...Now, the hard part...disconnected all four tubes from gas valve assembly. (Had to shut off gas to house in order to remove ma ... Read more in gas line to stovetop.) Had to remove valve box in order to remove/replace frozen valve. Unit is 25 years old, works as and looks new...Rust was caused by boil-overs.

The spark module pulses a stepped up voltage to all four burner sparks at the same time regardless of which burner you want to ignite. I read that this part lasts about 10 years. turned the old burner to the left and lifted it out. unpluged the wires with a screwdriver pluged the wires into the new burner and putit back on the stove and turned it to the right

Took my right hand twisted burner off unplug wires pluged them back into new burner and put burner back on done 3 mins tops.

Removed old igniter. Porcelain was broken. Replaced with new igniters. Really simple to do. Took 10 minutes to replace all 4

Unplug power, put strap wrench around burner cap and turn counter clockwise 1/4 turn, remove 2 wires, installed in reverse.took less than 5 minutes.

Ordered the part, removed the wires (by light pulling) from the old burner and inserted them in the new one. Tried it, and it worked. Total work time, about 5 min. Amount saved, $150.

unscrewed old burner about a 1/4 turn counterclockwise. pulled old burner out. removed the 2 wires connected to the burner. attached said wires to new burner making sure to connect correct color wire to same post as old burner. put new burner back in stove and turned about a 1/4 turn clockwise.

As the video said, twist burner to the counterclockwise 1/8 turn. Lift the burner straight up. Disconnect the two wires. Remove the burner and reconnect the wires ( they only go one way so they cannot be connected backwards.) Place the burner over the gas fitting and turn the burner clockwise until snug. pull wire off of spark electrode unscrew old burner. screw on new burner attach wire to new spark electrode.

twist old burner and lift out disconnect two wires throw away gasket (if there is one left) connect two wires to new burner set in and twist till tight total time 45 seconds

Pulled cooking grate off, twisted burner head counter clockwise 1/8 of a turn, pulled up and out. Removed 2 connecting wires.put new burner head on in reverse order. Simple about 2 minutes including opening box.

Slightly turn burner head clockwise and it comes out. Pulled out spark electrode wire and hand installed it into new piece. Cleaned area and replaced burner head with a slight twist to lock in place.
