Ftg-lube .25-28x.256 Ywzc
Part #07012600
This OEM part is a zerk fitting that is sometimes called a grease fitting, lube fitting, grease zerk, or Alemite fitting. It is a metal nipple that you connect a grease gun to, allowing you to lubricate the moving parts in your lawn equipment, usually on joints or bearings. This fitting is 1/4 inch wide, has 28 threads per inch, and a threaded portion that is .256 inches long. If the fitting is broken, you may notice that your machine is moving sluggishly, or the fitting may appear cracked or clogged with debris. It is important to replace a damaged fitting right away, because if you do not, debris can prevent the fitting from accepting grease and the moving parts of your machine will wear out faster and eventually break down completely. To replace the fitting, you will need to use a wrench to remove it from your machine. Keep in mind that this replacement part is sold separately, so you may want to consider stocking up on fittings before you need them. Since the fittings on your machine wear out at the same rate, having a few extra on hand can save you time and hassle down the road.

This authentic OEM sourced component is specially made for use with Ariens lawn and garden equipment. Ball bearings are generally utilized to reduce friction between rotating parts. The balls or rollers take the load and spin, distributing the weight evenly while the minimal contact area of the ball reduces friction. Unfortunately, over time due to heat, pressure and friction bearings tend to wear out and may begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement. Keep in mind this high-quality item is made of durable metal and is sold individually.
