Had to lift on the door for the microwave to run, suspected the door switches.
  • Arthur from Windham, NH
  • Easy
  • 30 - 60 mins
  • Pliers, Screw drivers
Ordered the switches from Partselect, arrive in two days. Had trouble removing the plastic connectors from the old switch terminals, one of the plastic protectors broke, but was able to reuse it. It took a little figuring out how to remove the existing switches. Must push in a tab and rotate the switch on a little pin, then remove. Must b e careful not to break the plastic tabs holding the switches in place. Replaced all (3) switches at the same time. All in all it was pretty easy.

Broken handle
  • Chase from Tampa, FL
  • A Bit Difficult
  • 15 - 30 mins
  • Screw drivers
I found and removed the clip for the door - top on the inside (not easy to find) and then removed the door. Called support who told me to watch you-tube and there were good instructions there. Needed needle nose pliers to hold broken screw and a screw driver that could fit between the metal. Flat head and phillips are required. OH you should try to leave the screw in the hole as getting it back there is a PIA. Took about 20 minutes and I am challenged mechanically. Altogether, not too bad.
