The retainer attaches to the idler arm support. This genuine item is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with tractors and rear engine riders made by Snapper, Murray, and Simplicity. It is made out of metal and is sold individually. During the installation process, a wrench set might be needed to replace this part. Over time this part may break and will need to be replaced.

This OEM valve stem regulates air flow in and out of tires, allowing for inflation and deflation. It features an 11.5mm outer diameter, 31.75mm total length, and 22.35mm effective length. Signs of a broken valve stem include cracks, bends, or air leakage, which should be replaced to prevent tire deflation and operational issues. To remove the valve stem, fully deflate the tire first. Then, disconnect the tire from the rim to access the inner part of the rim. You may need to unthread any securing nuts if present. Use a pair of pliers to grip at the base of the valve stem and then unscrew it from the rim hole.

This is a genuine replacement part sourced from the original manufacturer for use with small engines.
