Debris shield broke, wore out the belt, self-propel didn't work as a result
Installed the belt on the debris shield. Once the blade was tightened into place, give the belt a tug and it will install itself onto the pulley.

Rear drive wheels bald, no traction
9/16s inch socket, something to prop up one side of the mower (I used a plastic plant pot), and about 5 minutes was all that was needed. Undo the nut on the wheel, remove, replace it with the new one (can't mess it up - just goes on one way which is extremely obvious), replace and tighten the nut -- done. Just that simple. With the new kicks it goes up hill like a champ now (instead of spinning, especially with the grass catcher attached).
