66311 (1988) Kenmore Range - Instructions

Opened the box, took out the drip pans and the put them on the stove. Wow -- even a techno-challenged person like myself could do this! I ordered these on a Tues. at 2:00 p.m. and received them on Wednesday -- that is a first so thanks for the fast service and they look great! An all-purpose hardware-store knob didn't work, the shaft was way too short.With the aid of the Part-Select diagram,I found the correct stove model number. The simple little Tappan oven control knob cost over $30. I checked other appliance part vendors on-line, but found their part descriptions imprecise and equally expensive. I ordered ... No major hardware stores had anything close. One visit to you site was all it took. Parts were loose so we removed them and replaced.

Opened box, popped bubble wrap :) put in drip pans. Was great! Having been looking for the correct ones for a couple of years!

Found replacement drip pans at partselect.com.
Ordered them and received them in 2 days.
installed the new ones and all is well.
Had I known it was this easy, I wouldn't have spent countless hours scrubbing the old pans with Brillo pads. Considering how much I spent on oven cleaner, scouring powder and steel wools pads, it ... Read more was lest costly to just buy new ones. (and they look better too).

No tools were required. All I had to do was lift off the burner grate. I removed the old drip pans. Put the new drip pans in. I then put the burner grates back on. I did this with all four burners. That's all there was to it. Easy as 1-2-3.

We just recently purchased our home. The gas stove top is stainless steel and works great but the drip pans and burner grates were old, worn, and not very attractive looking. So I decided to replace them with new ones to give my stove top a fresh at like new look.

first I removed the 4 screws holding the cover in place. then I removed the 26" flourescent tube by slowing twisting it free. Then I attemped to buy another one at 6 or 8 stores with no luck. While surfing the web for tappan range replacement bulbs, your web site popped up. Thank god.

took off the front panel where the burner nobs are was very easy

removed grills and drip pans cleaned the entire stove top. Allowed to dry and then insalled new drip pans and grill.

Unplug the stove from the wall socket. Remove the oven door as shown in the instructions for replacing the door. This makes the job a lot easier. At the rear of the bottom panel there is a screw at each corner. Remove these screws, a screwdriver will loosen them, then remove by hand. If you have a convection oven remove the fan cover as t ... Read more his prevents the bottom panel from coming out. There is a screw at the top and the bottom of the cover. You can then gently lift the bottom panel at the rear and work it out of the front lip. Install the new bottom panel in reverse order.

Removed the old oven racks and put in the new ones.

We recently purchased condo and WhiteWestinghouse range needed some love. the old racks were not in very good shape so we ordered new.

I searched everywhere for the drip pans that fit the unusual range in my rental home. They were too tarnished, old, and rusted to clean. Walmart, Target, Lowes, and Home Depot didn't carry the size and shape I was looking for. These were the perfect fit!
