Take cover off microwave. Check door switches to determine which one was faulty.Remove and replace faulty switch.

I removed the cover to assembly ,3 screws and it came right off. points were wore out. Thank you for a prompt delivery. It was delivered much faster then I expected.

When I took the ice maker apart I noticed that the shaft of the motor control wheel was broken so when it turned it could not trip the control contacts nor rotate the ice ejector fingers. I ordered a new control and motor assembly which arrived two days later. It was very easy to install and now the ice maker works perfectly.

I verified I had 120 volts going into transformer when the microwave was supposed to be running. The capacitor and HV diode both tested good. Turned off ice maker. Remove one screw with nut driver (1/4") that hold plugin cover. Push the release lock, (up) on bottom of Ice maker to slide unit out enough to unplug and remove ice maker out of freezer. remove white side cover and replace control unit. I slid the bar into the end caps, then slid the end caps into the slots on the door. No tools were required. My fridge is old, and I was very pleased that I was able to find the part.

Simply replaced broken ones.

Did not have to remove the complete ice maker. Only the front part that housed to motor assembly. Two Clips removes to cover and three screws removed the motor unit and the rest was in reverse. Removed cover change mounting bracket on fan put it back in works great

First I disconnected the refrigerator. I snapped off the service door. taped closed the auto.door shut off located on the left side wall. the unit just pulled out,
disconnecting the power source, removed the plastic cover, unscrewed (3) screws and reattached the new unit . i reconnected the process in reverse.

First I did the diagnostics and thought the water valve wasn't functioning so I replaced that, but it still didn't make ice. So I went on line and found the first thing to fix should have been the module and motor assembly. It was a real easy fix because I had pulled the ice maker before to investigate what was wrong. I just removed on ... Read more e screw and disconnected the electrical. There were four screws holding the motor assembly on. So I put the new motor on and had ice in 30 mnutes.

Note: I thought the motor was bad, it was actually one of the gears. Order the motor-gear module. You will probably receive the motor-gear module if you order the motor only.

I use a philips screw driver to remove the three scews holding the motor gear assembly. I pulled off the motor/gear module; installed the new motor gear assembly. Reinstalled the ice maker. Easy!

Unplugged the refrigerator. No need to remove the entire icemaker (IM). Removed the old module by taking out the 3 screws and carefully wiggling it free from the icemaker.
