Rollers came off my bottom rack due to broken axles.

I ordered all new axles even though not all of them were broken - I figured it was just a matter of time. Ordered one new roller because one was missing, and an extra one just in case. Removed all old rollers and axles. A couple of them did not want to come off, so I "hit" them with a screwdriver. Put on all new axles and replaced the r ollers. The whole project took about 10 minutes. SUPER EASY. CHEAP FIX FOR MY OLD DISHWASHER.

The website had great pictures, I compared the wheels I had and the broken axles with the pictures, and picked what I thought would match. They were perfect. I used pliers to pop the axle on, and my fingers to put on the wheels. It works perfectly now

Rubber Water Delivery Tube split

  • SASSER from WARRENTON, VA
  • Very Easy

Spray arm receiver went on easily. Then delivery tube slipped on to proper place easily. Total time for repair was less than 5 minutes.
My biggest problem was getting the replacement parts. I ordered the parts on June 3. The Spray Arm Receiver was shipped that day. On June 10th when the delivery tube(showing in stock) still had not b een shipped I called Customer Service. The warehouse that received my order was out of stock. The customer service rep transferred my order to another warehouse that had the delivery tube in stock and it was shipped that day. I received the delivery tube today, June 18.

water delivery tube was rotted and no longer delivered water to the top arm, so top shelf of dishwasher no longer worked
1 person found this instruction helpful.
  • Janice from NEW COLUMBIA, PA
  • Really Easy
  • 15 - 30 mins
we used hot water to soften the ends of the tube and then slid it onto the two ends of the parts in the dishwasher. It did take a little bit of "push" to get it on one end, but nothing we could not handle. I would say anyone with common sense and willingness to fix something them selves would have no problem. I would like to say the pa rt I ordered was of good quality and saved me a lot of money.

a couple of axles disintegrated so the bottom dish rack wouldn't roll
1 person found this instruction helpful.
  • Anne from Sebastopol, CA
  • Easy
  • 15 - 30 mins
  • Pliers
I took out the bottom rack, turned it upside down, popped off the wheels and saved them and put on the new axles. It took a little doing to get the new axles snapped into place-they were stiff. I finally figured out how to use the pliers at the right angle to pop them on. Then the wheels popped right on and off I went.

Replace rubber water delivery tube

  • Kim from DALLAS, TX
  • A Bit Difficult
  • 15 - 30 mins
Like the video showed but very hard to stretch tube over wider part on interior of top shelf. Read afterwards that hair dryer would have helped. Video should mention that. Bruised hands and wrists getting it on good.

  • Allen from NAUVOO, AL
  • Really Easy

ReplacING the tube was not a big job but the old tube had come apart and pieces had lodged in the sprayer arm. I used a toothpick and nut pick to dislodge the pieces and restore full water flow.
