I found that the supplied part did not have threads to receive the bolts that were used in the original part. I had to locate thin nuts and bolts and very awkwardly fit those in behind the part. I pulled the dishwasher out and detached the drain hose. I attached the new drain hose after cleaning out the connection to the garbage disposal.

Now my dishwasher doesn't stink anymore!

Removed top of washer
Then removed front
Then reversible basket ,during spring depressed pliers
Put new gasket on inside flange first put spring back on
Put front washer panel back on and put screws back in panel holes

Not too bad, had a neighbor help with the project as washer/dryer were stacked. removed dryer from on top out of way. Drained washer, tilted on side to get access from down below. Read more c clip holding in unit and pulled out. New unit was factory new, not a knockoff. We took extra time to clean out hoses, especially from the main washer unit, it was a simple unscrew clamp and pull hose down. We sprayed out gunk from hoses and parts going back in. Once new unit was ready, installed back and reconnected hose and power. The clamps were somewhat of a pain with the overall size and angles to get them seated and on correctly. Much easier to take off, but take the time to reinstall correctly. Don’t need water leaking. Motor much quieter now, wife is happy.

Removed the wire clip, then removed two screws on mounting bracket. Then disconected the hose. Removed the brass elbow.

Then reversed these steps and I was done.

We followed the installation video step by step that was found on another website.

No Plumer could help me. No one heard of a dishwasher check valve. My dishwasher was an ISA. I was lost until i found the relationship to Kitchenaid. Then sears. Vuela!
The valve was there, but unavailable.

All suppliers gave me but two choices. One large (size given) one smaller.
After years of searching, all I needed was a flapper valve. Not the whole check valve.
I found it hear for under $10

Old cap was already off and had string on it. Cut the string. Placed end cap over. Used needle nose pliers to open metal rail a little and put in new cap. Locked right in. That was easy. Thanks again.

Pulled the washer out to get behind it.
Turned off water supply, unplugged it.
Unscrewed the screwesholding the top in place, slid top back, lifted it off.
Used pliers to open the clamps holding the pipes to the valve - one at a time. And fitted the pipes to new valve, one at a time.
SO ... Read more ME WATER REMAINS IN THESE PIPES, SO PUT A TOWEL UNDERNEATH TO CATCH IT.
Removed the electrical connectors one at a time and fitted them to the new valve one at a time.
Did same to the hot valve - not leaking but decided to replace it before it did leak.
Reattached water supply hoses and electric plug.
Tested the washer cycle to make sure no leaks.
Put top back on and pushed washer back to wall.
Apart from the testing, the whole job took 25 minutes.
The parts arrived on Day 2 after the order.
VERY PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING!

took about half an hour

I took the front off of the dishwasher door, loosened the screws, unplugged the module and replaced it with the new module. This repair was the easiest repair I've ever completed!

My son found a water leak and cut the water supply off. He then pulled the machine from under the counter at which time I examined the valve under pressure and saw the leak. Totally dis-assembled this washer to check the bearings and drum plus fix the pump problem. We wash dog blankets occasionally and found the little drain hose from the front door gasket was clogged with hair. It makes a 90 degree turn and it gets caught there. THAT fixed the smell issue.
