The glass cover is large and heavy so you need to be ready to handle the bulk of this piece once the last screw is removed.

I reversed the process with the new element, turned the power back

on, and the element heated up and back in business. This was the easiest I have ever had repairing or replacing anything. The hardest part of this repair was finding a flashlight in my house that had good batteries!! Thank you for such quick and courteous service.

Unscrewed the two screws holding the rear plate of the element. Pulled the element out far emough to reach the plugs on each side. Disconnected the plugs and plugged in the new element. Put the screws back in and it was ready to go. This was the second replacement in the last five years.
