disassembled bottom trim on oven door.cleaned area of excess rust and installed trim piece.

removed the plug that had burned up on one of the top burners, replaced it with a new plug purchased from parts select., it was quite easy ,I unpluged stove and raise the top exposing wiring for the burners cut the old plug wiring and connected the wires for the new plug with connectors and shrink tubing supplied in the repair kit easy a ... Removed several screws and removed element. Replaced same. Total ten minutes.

Opened oven door removed screw and broken end cap. Replaced with new end cap and put handle back on

Luckily I retained the original manual and was able to order the drip pans through your company from the original manufacturer. Be sure range is turned off, lift the burner locking element, then lift the burner a bit. Remove the burner by pulling it, disconnecting it through the opening in the drip pan. I followed the instructions provided.

It was impossible to replace the door handle, as it requires removing the entire door - It is too heavy for one person to hold in place while the 2nd person tried to blindly replace screws thru a 1/2 inch slit in the outer and inner door pieces. Hiring a handyman is impossible leading up to the holidays, so we decided to just buy a new stove. Something that should be really simple to replace for less than $50 is now a major budget outlay due to a crappy design.

Took door off of hinge
Removed 6 screws from bottom of door
Removed glass
Removed screws from side of door
Removed door from frame
Replaced the end caps using exisiting screws
Put door back together in reverse order
Pretty easy but simple instructions would have made it a 15 minute job instead of 30

I took the old wires and plug off and replaced it with the new block it works fine

I took out the coils manually by pulling them out with slight pressure. Then I lift the hood by first unscrewing the four screws. I have never done anything like this before just intuitive sense to locate the screws that needed to be loosened. Afterwards I remember placing something underneath like a piece of 2x4 wood block to act as supp ... Read more ort to hold the hood open so I can work on the coils. The parts I got are exactly the same as those I am replacing so I just copied the connection and voila my electric range is working like new. Well of course before I touched anything, I made sure I turned off the main switch and that nobody switches it back on without my knowledge. Thanks for providing the parts, I just saved myself from buying a $600 electric range.

Repair was very east. The suppliers package had all of the necessary parts ceramic wire nuts wire Ect. Excellent.
Will buy from Part Select Appliance again.

Step #1: Remove 2 screws at the inside top of the oven door that holds the inner/outer oven door together. Step #2: Remove the screws from the inner door that hold the plastic handle end caps to the door. Tip: Use a file to dress up the tips of the metal handle bar so that it fits easily into the new plastic handle end caps. Step #3 ... Read more : Install the first new plastic handle end cap. Step #4: Slide the metal handle bar into the plastic handle end cap that was just installed on the outer oven door. Step #5: Place the other plastic handle end cap on the metal handle bar. Step #6: Install the second plastic handle end cap on the outer oven door. Step #7: Reassemble the oven door by installing the screws that were removed in step #1.

Someone did the repair for me.

Unscrewed three screws from each oven door. Unbolted the end pieces and replaced with new ones. Reinstalled oven door screws. Nothing to it.
