This is an authentic OEM part. The plastic starter pawl/ratchet is compatible with several line trimmers and brushcutters. This part is fitted onto the pawl spring and starter pulleys within the starter housing. The starter pawl/ratchet is used to grab the starter drum when the starter rope is pulled. A screwdriver is needed in the removal and replacement. This item is sold individually.
