This is twin oven range with controls at side of upper oven. Control panel was fastened with screws at top and bottom. Range has built-in hood at top which had to be disassembled to reach top screw. Once had access to top screw, eaisly removed control panel and replaced control. New control had identical connections as old control so ... Read more only had to install it, break shaft to correct length, and use proper shaft adapter for knob. Remounted control panel and range worked perfectly. This would have been a very quick job except for having to deal with the built-in range hood.

Range is 45 yrs old. New drip pans are different shape. This is only place which had them and VERY GOOD price. Delivery was quick, too!

The repair went well and once again my stove that was installed back in 1968 is working perfectly. We will be buying another 6" burner and 2-8" so we have them when they begin to burn out. We looked everywhere for a replacement and was told they do not make them anymore, but we found it here. Thank you!

Threw away the old ones after lifting burner rings. Put new parts in place.

I tried first to replace them, with a set I bought at a local hardware store. But they were too small. So I went on the internet, and found Part Select, and thanks to a very helpful guy, who made the extra effort to find the exact drip bowls, I now have a nice, shiny stove-top again. I had an appliance guy replace a burner(Calrod unit)on my 47 year-old GE range, but he didn't tell me that the original trim ring wouldn't fit. I decided to look up on PartSelect to see if I could get one to fit the new burner, and I did! Fits perfectly......no tools needed.

could not find the proper pans and rings in any diy stores, as stove is so old. went on this site and there they were!!!

I purchased a set of drip pans at the store only to find out that they were not for GE Ranges. I got on line and inquired and your representative was very helpful. The repair was easy. After cleaning the stove I removed the old drip pans and installed them one by one. No problem!

As easy as 1-2-3 !!! :) Lift up burners, place drip bowls down then trim rings, put burners down! I unscrewed the screw that held the element in place and then took the hex head nuts holding the 3 wires off the old element. When taking the wires off, I had the new element next the old and put each on the same connection one at a time to make sure I replaced the wires in the same location they were on the old element. Placed new ones on range. Exactly what I would do to wash them.

Turned off elec. at switch box. Took new element out of the package placed it upside down to the side of the old element. Removed skrew holding old one in place, removed old element and turned upside down,removed wires from the old one and put them in same postion on the new one. Just an easy replacement. Problem was, I couldn't find the parts. The service and turn-around was fabulous!
