Water was dripping from the freezer into the non-frozen area, and the non-frozen area was not cooling

I first disconnected the power cord and then removed all the panels and disconnected the Defrost Heater at the quick-disconnect, and cut the wires on the Defrost Themostat. (The Defrost Thermostat had been replaced about 10 years ago when the Defrost Heater was replaced.) One of the reasons it took longer than 15 minutes was because ther e was a buildup of ice in the freezer section. I then soldered the wires and covered them with a plastic sleeve and wrapped them in electrical tape. After replacing all the panels and re-connecting the power cord, I restarted the refrigerator. After one week, there is no water dripping from the freezer and everything is working properly. Your diagnosis of the problem was exactly right. Thanks for the info.

Definatly a two man job. I suggest you put a pad down to protect your floor. Remove the filter, grill, and bolts per instructions. Everything is straight forward. Move the frame back 1/2 to 1 inch then tilt the frig back on it's side about 4 inches. If the frame doesn't drop down, move it back until the front of the frame comes of th e front lip of the frig. Place a block under the frig lip NOT the frame and WATCH YOUR FINGERS. The wheel should be hanging down. Just pull out the pin, replace the wheel (make sure you have it facing the correct way) and tilt back and pull the blocks. Move the frig back in place and replace the bolts. Took me and a buddy less than 30 minutes.

Once I saw the replacement part I understood how to pry out the switch with a small screwdriver. Then just unplug the old one, plug in the new one and pop it into place.

The PartSelect site made it easy to correctly identify the correct part, it was inexpensive, and the shipping was fast.

I'm very pleased!

We just had to find the trick to put it in where it would catch on and the rest was a piece a cake.

You had to put it in the groove where it would catch and snap it in place and the rest went in
pretty easy.

Removed the lower back panel (10 small screws)Found the condenser motor froze up and not moving air across the cooling coils. So I got a small table fan and set it behind the fridge and it kept the fridge cooling for 3 days till the new fan motor arrived. Removed 3 small screws holding the fan motor in the bracket and unpluged the wiring h arness.Removed the fan from old motor and used it on the new motor.Replaced the fan in the bracket and plugged the wiring harness back in. Worked great. Very easy.Did not have to empty fridge because table fan kept coils cool. Ordering part was easy and shipping fast.Great job guys!!

The only tricky part of ordering replacement drawers for this fridge is that the bottom ones are two different sizes so you have to be sure you order the right one. Measure the width and look closely at the exploded drawing to be sure you are getting the right one.

Shut of both freezer and refer section, as well as unplug unit. Remove h2o line to bottom of frig that supplies ice maker. Remove back panel and set aside. Remove green, red and white wires from relay and start device. Be sure to mark which goes where, it may seem simple, but 3-5 days later when the parts arrive, things may look different . Install the two replacement parts in the reverse order by which you removed them. Remember, white tabs are down and touch back of lower part when installed. Install panel and hto line, check for leaks, plug in and turn refer on.

I was able to salvage the existing wiring and simply replace the ice maker itself and the valve located at the bottom-rear of the frig.

Simply removed and replaced the screws, changed the water tube and connected everything back up. I probably spent more time cleaning behind the frig that replacing the parts.

Very p leased with how quickly the parts came and everything was included!

We broke the rail. :(

We decided to use our crisper drawers to store sodas. Duh..bad plan. The rail that holds the drawers up cracked in half. So we just had the drawers sitting on the bottom of the fridge. So, I got the new rail THE DAY AFTER I ORDER IT! I just recycled the old one, and slid the new one in. Presto. Perfect fit. Actually, better then perfect. There must have been a defect with my old one, because the new one actually SNAPPED into place, instead if just sitting in the frame. So..I am really pleased.
