This is a replacement dairy compartment door for your refrigerator. The dairy compartment door opens and closes to allow access to the dairy items stored in the refrigerator door. Because it is made of clear plastic, the door can occasionally become cracked and broken. When the door is cracked, it will need to be replaced. The door measures approximately 15 inches in length and 6 inches in width. To replace the door, carefully remove the old door and insert the new door, lipped edge down. This product is sold individually and is OEM part from the manufacturer.

Door Retainer bar - White

This door trim is used in refrigerators and is connected to the door handle. If the mounting tap is broken or there is discolouration from usage, it is best to replace this part to ensure it works well and looks good. The tools needed for this repair is a small screwdriver. To repair, first pull out the old door trim by placing the screwdriver in the gap between the trip and door handle and pushing upwards. Once you remove the old trim, you can replace it with the new door trim by aligning the slots on the trim with screws on the door. Slide the door trim down to install it. Remember to unplug appliance from the power source as a safety precaution before installation. For further installation instructions, refer to the manual guide provided by the manufacturer.

The door shelf brace was missing.
I snapped the two end caps into the shelf rail and pushed it into place on the bottom of the inside door.Tolls were not needed as it was a perfect fit.

Old Door Gasket had been destroyed by animals while in storage
I removed all of the nuts around the door that held the gasket on, removed the old gasket, and then placed the new gasket on the door. Easy as pie! No special skills or knowledge required. Just a little patience to make sure the new gasket is sitting properly on the door before the nuts are tightened.

Fresh Food Door Gasket
There are little screws all around the inside of the refrigerator door, under which part of the gasket rests. A socket-set was needed to determine which one would fit the screws. The first step is to remove the old gasket. I discovered (the hard way!) that it makes sense to unscrew them a few at a time to remove the old gasket, and screw them back in, until you are ready to install the new one. My refrigerator door was not one "solid" piece. It is two pieces screwed together (with those little screws), and has insulation in the middle of the two pieces. If you unscrew too many at one time, the two pieces of the door will come apart, so don't do that.
When it was time to put the new gasket on, again, it made sense to do a few at a time. I started at the top of the door. Along with the screws, there is a metal rod that holds the gasket in place. Once you unscrew the screws, you place the back flap of the gasket underneath the metal rod. The gasket itself has holes that should line up with the holes for the screws. The rest of the gasket goes on top of the metal rod and screws. Then put the screws back in, using your socket wrench, and begin the next section (ie one side of the door). Work your way around the door, doing one side at a time. The bottom was the most difficult part to get to. Be careful not to run your fingers along the metal rod to push the gasket. I did cut my finger a bit. (Use something other than your finger to do the job.) The whole thing took me a while, but I got it done, while my HUSBAND sat and watched tv. Read more...

Needed to replace refrigerator door gasket
My refrigerator is 17 years old. The gasket seal around the door finally needed to be replaced. I ordered the part from Partselect.com. They had the cheapest price, including shipping.
