The repairman came out, charged me $100 to determine what the dishwasher needed & left me with the part number. He was going to charge me $389 to install the part and they were over charging for the part. The repairman suggested I just get a new dishwasher.

If this pressure sensor is bad or not working properly, it will cause over and underfilling of your dishwasher, as well as excessive noise while in operation. To replace this pressure sensor, you will need a screwdriver and wrench to gain access and remove this part, and further disassembly of your dishwasher may be required. This sensor is sold individually and does not come with any other parts.

I have never had to do anything like this in my life, only recently had to start doing everything around the house myself due to husband's illness. Failed diagonistics test for OWI sensor
Pulled the dishwasher out from the counter, on the lower right hand side, about mid way back there is a bundle of all yellow wires, follow that to the sensor which mounts into the bottom of the wash tub. The sensor is easily removed by grasping it by hand and turn it about a half turn (can't remember which direction). It then just pulls out. Disconnect the wire bundle by pushing on the retaining clip and the install is the reverse.

replacing the sensor was simple, just unplug and turn it out, but didn't solve the problem, it's a float sensor that doesn't show up on the tech sheet in the dishwasher or anywhere in troubleshooting on the internet I could find.
