Door Hinge
(8)
PartSelect Number PS8722560
Manufacturer Part Number 00491647
This door hinge is designed for use with dryers. The door hinge supports the door and allows the door to swing open and closed with ease. The hinge is made of metal, and it is easy to install, you will need a screwdriver. While holding the door, remove the four screws found on the cover plate of the door, this will allow you to remove the door from your appliance and access the hinge. Once the door is removed make sure you save the plastic bushings from the original hinge. You will then remove the two larger screws on the hinge, then slide the hinge straight up, and pull it out of the appliance. Place the plastic bushings on the new hinge, attach the hinge to the dryer, and reinstall the door.

Heating Element Assembly
(2)
PartSelect Number PS8714887
Manufacturer Part Number 00436460
The heating element assembly found in dryers is what generates the heat required for the drying cycle. If your dryer is not heating, or not getting hot enough you will need to test and possibly replace your heating element. This assembly comes with both the heating element and the thermostat (NTC and protector). This assembly does not come with the heat shield or the screws, those are sold separately. First you need to unplug your appliance, remove the rear panel, locate the heating element assembly, and carefully remove the wire leads to this part, as well as any screws holding it in place. To install the new assembly, simply attach it to the back of the dryer where the older element was, connect the wire leads, and replace the rear panel. Refer to model specific diagrams for exact location and placement.
