This hinge bracket, also known as a door stop, is attached to the bottom of the door and is used to limit how far the door swings out to protect the refrigerator itself, and any surrounding cabinets from potential damage. If your fridge is having issues opening or staying closed, check the hinges for any damage or cracking. To replace this bracket, simply remove the door off your refrigerator, unscrew and remove this bracket from the bottom of the door, and install the new one. This hinge bracket is an OEM replacement and is compatible with several different makes and models of refrigerator.

Right side door doesn't lift when closing
I failed to repair the problem and sent the parts back. The hinge bracket that I needed was WPW10524049. The hinge that I purchased was WP2183805. I gave up on trying to repair the door because it was not clear to me how to assemble the cam and hinge. There doesn't seem to be any obvious way to disassemble the hinge and cam that I have - which would allow me to replace the cam in the existing hinge. Read more...

Bought from a Scratch & Dent, so hinge was bent
The bent hinge caused a bad seal which let in air into the freezer, so there was a ton of frost build up. I ordered the parts, and they came in 2 days! I figured what tools I needed, got my wife to help hold things, and in 20 minutes it was like new. Read more...

Movers broke a glass shelf, cracked a cover, and an end-cap
The old cover came off in two pieces (broken) and the new cover, rather than screwing on, simply snapped in place - a huge improvement over original part.

The end cap kit went in rather straightforwardly; the visual drawing in the part envelope was sufficient.

The glass shelf was only slightly more of a problem as I did not realize that a back piece could be pulled off (minor effort), the new glass placed in position, and then the back clamping piece placed over the rear of the bracket, clamping the glass.

Couldn't have been simpler and saved quite a bit of money if a repair person would have had to come out, first to provide an estimate, and then, the actual repairs; probably two hour minimum. :-)
