This cover is designed for use with trimmers and edgers and is a genuine OEM part. Made of plastic, this cover is used to hold and secure the spool or line within the trimmer cutter head assembly. If the cover for your trimmer is broken or damaged and cannot contain the spool or line, the cover needs to be replaced immediately. To replace the cover, push in the upper slots on the cover, which will disconnect and release it from the rest of the assembly.

Trimmer Cap This spool cap is for line trimmers. Spool cap covers the bottom of the line spool and prevents the spool from falling out of the spool housing.

Trimmer Sa Cap, Euro This is a genuine Black and Decker replacement part. Sold individually. This part secures the spool into the spool housing. It is released by pressing the two tabs on either side, and is reattached by lining up the tabs and pressing in. Part is made of plastic. It is commonly used in trimmers, see list below for compatibility.

Trimmer Bump Cap This is a genuine part which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer and is used with Craftsman hedge trimmers. The cap holds in the spool and bumper to the spool housing. This part is made of durable plastic and is sold individually. There are no tools required for installation, simply push the two tabs on the side of the cap and snap it into the housing. It is the same process to remove the old one.
