Screen Specifications
This is a screen filter, designed to keep food particles, gunk, and debris from entering the pump of your dishwasher. If this filter is missing, damaged, or simply unusable, it will need to be replaced so you can effectively clean your dishes. Replacing this filter is simple, as you only need to twist and remove the lower filter, before you can carefully lift this filter out. This filter is an OEM part and is sold individually.

Dishes were not getting cleaned and water was coming out the bottom of the door

The top and bottom parts of the lower wash arm were separating. This caused water to spray out the ends of the wash arm and come out the front of the dishwasher. In addition this water was not spraying upward resulting in dishes not getting cleaned. Took me a while to figure this out but the repair was simple.

My filters had completely clogged up with hard deposits and food left on the dishes after running the dishwasher.

My filters had completely clogged up and had not cleaned my filters at all which was a no-no.I had lots of food left on the dishes after running my dishwasher, so I took bothp filters out and replaced them no tools required. I won’t be using powdered or liquid detergent for my dishwasher anymore only pods and promise to clean my filters

How do you remove the filters?
Hi Baldo, Thank you for the question. To access the filter you will need to remove the dishrack. Next you can turn the base of the spray arm counter clock wise to release and remove it. Next turn the smaller filter cup counter clockwise to release and remove it. The filter screen will just lift out of place. Reverse the steps to reinstall. Hope this helps!

Dishwasher seems to fill and drain, however it will not spray on top or bottom sprayer.Any suggestions.
Hello Bryan, Thank you for the question. With the appliance filling and draining, it sounds like the issue is with the circulation pump, PartSelect Number PS11759751. If the pump has failed, it will not send water to the spray arms. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
