Dishwasher completed a cycle without issue and when reloaded the next day the touch pad showed no lights and the unit would not start. Door seems to close properly. What is the most likely cause--door switch, thermal fuse, control panel? I do not have a continuity tester to check.
Hello Robert, Thank you for the question. If there are no lights, this is more then likley the control board, PartSelect Number PS11722936. Hope this helps!
I replaced the main control board and the dishwasher still does not run and still no lights on the touch pad. What is the most likely reason after the control board? If the door switch is defective would it prevent the touch pad from operating? Thank you.
Hi Robert,
Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher is still not working after replacing the main control board, verify that everything is fitted and connected correctly to the new board, if everything is connected correctly, then the door latch is just one part you will need to check. There are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. Here is a link from our website that you may reference on what other parts to check, https://www.partselect.com/AdvancedModelSymptoms.aspx?ModelNum=WDF510PAYS6&mfgModelNum=&fkMfgID=3&ModelMasterID=368960&PID=40. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The door on the dishwasher won’t lock and close. I already replaced the latch for it and that didn’t fix it.
Hello Jayahn, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Handle and Actuator for wear or damage. Also make sure the door is level and able to close and catch the latch properly. We hope this helps!

The clean light keeps flashing and the dishwasher is not running
Hello Beatrice, thank you for writing. If your dishwasher will not start, you will want to consider either the Heating Element, part number PS8260087, or the High Limit Thermostat, part number PS11743423 for your model as the cause. Good luck with your repair!

Hi
My dishwasher intermittently stops working mid-cycle. I have to press resume button to restart.
what could possibly be the reason
Hello Magi, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the door switch. If it is fine, then the issue is most probably with the electronic control board, part number PS11722935. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. Glad to be of help!
If you turn the machine on and close the door the start light begins flashing after about 3 seconds then eventually turns off. Door seems to close properly. Did this last night but I played with it and got it working by opening and shutting the door. Tonight same thing but couldn’t get it working. Possibly a door switch or panel issue ?
Hi Mathew,
Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher start light was blinking, the dishwasher did not sense that the door was closed. This may have been caused by a brief power outage, or you have a faulty door switch. You will need to test the door switch for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting to see if it is operating normally. You should receive a reading of zero or nearly zero. If you receive any other reading, you will need to replace the door switch. We hope this helps!

Dishwasher is getting power and door seems to close but nothing lights up to start
Hello Brian, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, we would recommend checking the door switch, part number PS11751645. Even if the door seems closed, the internal micro-switch might be defective and not signal the control board that it is safe to start. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
