YGH5184XPQ1 Whirlpool Microwave - Instructions

Adjusted clips inserted grill less then two minutes.It took me longer to unwrap the package then it took to install.Ordered part on line 10:45 am delivered 2:30 pm next afternoon.Less then 28 hours later. What service.

I simply placed the grill-vent in hood area, pulled out the dirty grease filters and slid in the replacement ones.

Purchased new part online. Partselect parts list indicated 3 different part numbers with no other distinction. As a result, I accidentally ordered the wrong color. I had to mail the part back and reorder. Partselect should correct their parts lists to indicate the color of the part.

No repair- just replaced glass turntable.
Right part I needed with first try

Removed manually grill vent and replace it with new one.
Grease and filters where manually replaced.

Door on microway has allignment issues, that can't be repair unless I change entire door assembly

The nightmare was that this microwave is installed under the cabinet....in order to get to the light bulb I had to pull out my stove then squeeze into the space between the stove and counter....my old microwave light bult was much easier to change.....Shame on Whirlpool for making this so difficult.....must be a better way to cover the li ... Stood on a step stool so as to be tall enough to see all the places that the top edge and bottom edge must mesh, then pressed into place,

removed the holder screw and reshaped the holder and installed the vent grill to the microwave. The design appears to be a poor one which allows breakage.

When we received the vent grille, my husband popped it back on within 5 seconds . . . it was that easy! It took more time to get the part out of the shipped box than it took to put it on. Make sure you get the correct part and color, though. I didn't get the correct color and had to ship it back (my fault so I had to pay the shipping c ... Removed 1 screw, removed "burnt out" bulb and replaced it with new bulb.

PartSelect had the turntable I needed at the best price. Ordering was easy, but best of all, the part was delivered next day. I was able to insert the new turntable plate into the microwave and it was good as new.

Opened the box and popped it in. No problem with that.

The part was sent to me the next day! And it was the right part. Awesome!

Clips were installed on vent cover already. Just line it up and pop it on! Part shipped the day after I ordered it (Thanksgiving day), and arrived on Saturday. Super fast service. Part was exactly as ordered.
