Followed the instructions in the video provided via email from Partselect
However, the part received was the opposite design of the part removed.
It appeared this could be left hand right hand choice of part. Moreover, the button on the switch that turns the light off/on when door is open/closed was not functional due to the part being the opposite of the part I was replacing. I tested the switch I was replacing and it appears this is not the problem. I think the light socket is the problem. I am 69 year old female and capable of doing small repairs, but limited knowledge of electrical so having to troubleshoot by trial and error. Thank you.

The installation video for condenser fan motor helped a lot to know how to disconnect the old fan motor and connect the new one. So easy just know how to remove and put back the fan gently, observe carefully where is the center and the connector position; 15 min after everything was done and the unit works well to date.

This is the second time for this repair. Seems to occur after cleaning. Make sure you get the right part. Look at the old thermistor for correct model number, they look the same but are different. Turn off machine, unsnap cover plate, unplug old thermistor, remove holding screw with nut driver, replace in reverse order, turn on ice machin e. Next time I clean the machine I may remove the thermistor.

The Condenser Fan Motor was already removed due to searching for the problem. The new fan motor looked different from the original but I felt very comfortable that Part Select had sent me the new part showing original part number changing numbers over the years. Simply placed the fan blades onto the new motor lined up 2 of the holes pla ced screws and tightened then plugged the wire ribbon into the Condensor Fan Motor, plugged in the Refridgerator and it worked beautifully.

The instruction video on the Part Select Web Site made it so incredibly easy to install. Installation took under 3 minutes!

Instead of hiring a technician to repair my 2022 Kitchen Aid ice machine for parts, labor, & service call of $300+, I decided to research a little. Google & U-Tube directed me with what was most probable wrong & walked through exactly how to replace part needed. The secret or guarantee correct repair is to use OEM parts only. $59.50 later with OEM part from this site/ Fixed and working as new again. Thanks .

Countertop Dishwasher - Non Whirlpool

Since I have All Whirlpool appliances in the home, the only one not a Whirlpool was a counter top dishwasher that looks exactly like it could be a Whirlpool and so not to be the odd unit out, I labeled it with with a Whirlpool logo nameplate on the face of the door. Now everything matches perfectly and all in the same exact color white t oo.

Just measured and marked where the plate was to be located, cleaned that part of the surface, peeled the backing and carefully placed the logo name plate in place and pressed it on. Voila. Done and looks original as well. Call me the big, deep fakearooski.

I noticed the coils very dusty dirty, tried brushing it clean, ended up blowing it clean. I noticed the condenser fan motor was never turning, I had power, so I ordered a new one. I actual received the evaporator motor, so I had to order the correct one. After changing it, and it started blowing right away. But my refrigerator is still warm. I do not know where the evaporator blower motor is located. I cannot make out from the diagram breakdown. HELP

Recently unemployed, we knew a repairman was out of the question. We opted to glue the broken tab,but I knew that would just be living a substandard rerpair so looked on line. Found our replacement part very easily and much to our surprise we had the part the next day, yes, the next day!! Looking at the new part gave us the confidence t o pop out the old one without causing damage to our unit. It was a no brainer , pop out and plug in w/in 30 seconds. Small appliance repairmen are a minumum of 75.00 service fee plus parts. Our repair less than 20.00 less than 24 hrs. How good is that?
