AT THE END OF THE CYCLES IT MAKES A VERY LOUD NOISE, WHAT PART DO I HAVE TO BUY TO FIX THE PROBLEM

After wash cycle completes, it continues to drain or pump water… constantly. Hours. Smelled like burning. Unplugged it. Investigated the pump, there was a Bobby pin in it. Re assembled, everything seems to function but it still constantly pumps. Any suggestions?

Washer is draining and filling at the same time
Chris Boyle Profile
Hi Anthony, Thank you for your question. If your washer is draining and filling at the same time, we recommend checking the water inlet valve and the water level switch. Before removing and checking these parts, please unplug the washer from the electrical outlet. For the water inlet valve, you will need to test it for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting. You should receive a reading of 500 to 1500 ohms. If you receive any other readings you will need a replacement water inlet valve. For the water level switch, visually check it for signs of cracking, fraying, wear, or damage. If you find any of these signs, you will need a replacement water level switch. We hope this helps!

The water doesn’t drain properly and in some cases water doesn’t even get to all the clothes. The clothes when cycle is done is always wet with signs of water still within the washer
Chris Boyle Profile
Hi Mohammed, thank you for reaching out. The issue is likely related to the washing machine's drain system. Common causes include a clogged or obstructed drain hose, or a faulty drain pump. First, inspect the drain hose for any kinks, clogs, or obstructions. Ensure it's properly installed and not pushed too far down the drain pipe. If it is good, the drain pump itself might be malfunctioning and need to be replaced, the part number is PS11770076. We hope this sorts out your problem!
