Slid off the old START knob, then pushed on the new START knob.
I created and printed a label on my computer for use with the time selector dial, which must be set at or beyond 10 minutes, before turning the START knob.
I made a label that says "Minimum" with a red arrow that points past the 10 minute setting on the ... Read more time selector dial.
My teenage daughter was not setting the time selector dial, to a point past 10 minutes. When she turned the START knob, the dryer would not come on, because the time selector dial was not set past the 10 minute setting.
My daughter had continually twisted the START knob until it broke. I am hoping she will be able to see the large printed label I put on the dryer near the time selector, saying "Minimum" with a large red arrow pointing past 10 minutes.
I am very pleased that I was quickly able to find the exact matching START knob for my dryer and the exact same color, from PartSelect.Com

I replaced the pressure switch which I ordered from A-1. It still did not work. I then took a small rigid wire and inserted it into the pressure box on the side of the tub. Then I squirted water thru the tube to clean out the hole where the tube from the pressure switch is hooked up. The washer then worked fine. The pressure switch I repl

It was almost a complete tear down. Most difficult part was discivering how to remove the front panel. Slip a putty knife between the top and front covers. push and depress the spring tab on each side. The left hand nut on the hub was difficult. I had to get a neighbor to hold a large pair of pliers while I put a pipe wrench on the nut an

The timer unit on my 15 year old washer (only used for three, however, as we put it in storage while overseas) had been broken so that the push-pull on-off mechanism no longer functioned. The timer itself was fine, however not much good if I couldn't start and stop loads. Unfortunate because repla

Repairing was simple. The old timer assemply was easy to remove after opening the console panel. Installing the replacement part was a simple reversal of the steps. It was that easy. First, however, I unpluged the unit! Then after opening the console I found that two flanges held the timer unit on one side (these are what was broken

on the old part) and a screw on the other. I had to unhook the electrical harness from the old part (a bit of tugging) and unscrew the ground. Putting it back together was actually a bit easier because I knew what to expect. In short, this was a fix within my reach and doing the work myself saved a service call.

The machine would not spin and the agitator seemed to be siezed up. The inner tub had cracked and broken completely loose causing it to jam against itself preventing any movement.

1.Pulled the agitator out. Unscrewed the top nut, which was a little tricky to break loose since it had been in place for over 10 years. Pulled out the entire washing cylinder to unscrew and replace the hub. Not bad but you need to take out the inner tub and that requires doing a little extra unscrewing and prying.

The repair was done as describe by others with the "hub nut" having to be cut off due to corrosion. Instructions for removal of the tub were found inside the control panel area on the left hand side. Ordering s new hub nut and cutting off the old one proved to be a necessity.
