WMH2175XVS0 Whirlpool Microwave - Instructions

Unplug the microwave. Then remove the six screws that hold the lower panel which has the light bulb cover and a couple of vent filters. The light bulb sockets are on a fixture that is connected by a quick connect electrical connector. Disconnect that and the whole panel is free to access the bulbs. My bulbs were very fragile and tryin ... Read more g to twist them out resulted in the glass twisitng loose with the base still in the sockets. I needed to use a needle nose pliers to remove the bases and then I replaced the bulbs and put every thing back together

Replaced the supports and rack.

Looked up the Whirlpool Co. and ordered the part. It was quite simple. Arrived in 2 days and I simply placed it in the microware. It was very very easy!

It took me 15 minutes total - 5 minutes to clean the microwave, 1 minute to install three new parts, and 9 minutes to enjoy my celebratory glass of wine!

Took out turntable and swapped out old one with a new bright and shiny
New one, ring that is. It was easy using the part from parts select

Opened door and put new plate in.

Placed order on Thursday evening and received Sat Am

First, we had to clean up all the interior surfaces, which was just cleaning. There was no internal damage. Then, just setting the center connector, rotary rollers and glass plate. Simple

used screw driver to pry up old part. lifted right off. line up drive couple drive push on. repair took less than 1 minute to repair. works like new

Replaced a broken vent grill on my microwave

I removed the damaged microwave door and easily replaced it with the newly purchased one.

I had to cut the leads on the thermostat to enable the wire terminal clips to fit on the leads. Not hard at all when the right tools are available. Care must be used because the leads are subject to being damaged. “ Hold leads with narrow needle nose pliers while cutting!

Took microwave off the mount, removed all the outer covers except the face, used metal screwdriver to short the big capacitor to keep from being shocked, removed magnetron and replaced with new part. Put back together, hung on wall, and finished. I used a youtube video and it turned into a very simple fix.

After removing the over-the-range unit (no small feat!) I had to figure out how to open the case (good puzzle!). Capacitor had already discharged, so it was very easy to reach in, pop the old fuse and install the new one! As per your advice, I found out I was a "28%-er"! Upon re-installation, the microwave "sprang to life"!! Thanks, "P ... Read more art Select"!! I was already shopping around for a new machine! (Now if you could only tell me an easier way to re-mount this heavy beast over the stove!!!)

On top front of the microwave are two Philip's head screws holding the rail on. Remove these screws and the rail snap out the old filter (noting the dark side down) then snapping the new filter in. Replace rail. 10 to 15 minute task.

Unscrewed glass panel, removed old bulb, cleaned glass panel and installed new bulb. Screwed panel back into place.
