My front burner doesn't regulate properly it goes from medium to high heat without being changed. Do I need to replace the burner or the regulater?

According to our research on your model, the issue is probably related to the right front switch, part number PS11740783, and left front switch, part number PS11740785.The control switch turns the surface element on and off and controls how much heat the element produces. I have a oven whirpool wfe515s0es0 the right rear element does not regulate the temperature when i turn it on it goes to maximum heating. Which will be the part i need to solve the problem. Also the front left element does not work what part should i buy for this? Thank you
Hello Jose, thank you for your question. The right rear switch is part number PS11740785. For the front left element it will either be the switch, part number PS11754687 or the element, part number PS16543522. You can test the front left switch with an ohmmeter. First unplug the appliance or turn off the breaker. Remove all wires from the switch terminals. (Remember to label them!) Set the infinite switch on high and place your ohmmeter on the L2, H2, P and H1 terminals to check for continuity. If there is no continuity between L1 and H1 or between L2 and H2, the infinite switch is defective. We hope this helps.

($600.00 stove 2 years old)Please Note: The insulation blanket needed for the entire stove is two pieces, the sides and top are one part # and the bottom and back, are another part #. I did not know this. I just purchased the top and sides. I got lucky, the back and bottom were still in good shape. So I guess I should have read the description of the part more carefully to see what it covers, before I ordered it. It took two people two hours to do the work, it was really nice to have an extra set of eyes, to remember what direction pieces of metal from the stove went. I would do it all over in a heart beat instead of buying a new stove.

removed the screws holding the back metal panel, this exposed the wires to the switch. tested the wires to find that they were live when the switch was in the off position. ordered a new switch. UNPLUGED THE STOVE. removed the knob on the front of the stove. this exposed 2 screws, removed screws and the switch came away from the stove. re
