What would cause the problem when the machine will not spin fast...it does spin slowly like it should but not fast as in the end of the wash cycle..

It certainly sounds like it could be a faulty Belt PS11740785 and/or possibly a faulty pulley PS373050

Hi Tas, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, the start button is not sold separately, you may need to replace the whole console panel, part number PS11749953, to fix the issue. We hope this information is useful!
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
Removed braces, then removed belt. Started the belt on, then when I got to a point that I couldn't turn it any more I put the cable tie over belt and wheel,tighten them as tight as I could. When the belt got about on I watched close if you don't it will come off going around motor.
I removed the rubber gasket, unscrewed the door latch, and removed from behind the gasket. It’s easily accessible from the front for removal and installation. However, it ran for two cycles normally, then displayed the code again.
