WFC150M0JS0 Whirlpool Range - Instructions

I had a receptacle melt in front of my eyes. I few questions later PartSelect.com showed me the part I needed and was checking out in less than 10minutes. Part arrived 3 days later and 20 minutes after that it was installed. I'm Amazing!!! No, PartSelect.com is AMAZING!

replaced light socket but did not repair problem. must have burned the motherboard.

Unplugged the range. Cleaned the top of the range using Brillo pad, 1 inch putty knife, vinegar/water, 0000 steel wool. Removed debris and build up under the stove top with the same tools.
Connected the receptacle kit per the instructions that came with it, worked very well. Install the new drip pans, cleaned the elements, let everyt ... Read more hing dry, plug it back in and tested. Worked very well.

Turned off CB for the oven,Remove the oven from the cabinet , remove the back of the oven, replaced the light Assembly. turned on CB for the oven, tested the light. and truned off the CB and replace the back and reinstalled the oven in the cabinet.

Took off the screws on the back of the stove and took out the sensor, and put in the new one.

it was very easy i took the pump off only two clips and two hoses holding it type in the model number at parts select it came right up soi new it right one from the picture got with in 3 days put it back on less then 10 mins

Unplug power. Remove panel on the back. Unplug heater.From front remove 3 screws and remove heater. Installed new heater. On the back restored connections - squized the lugs to have better connection. Put panel back. Plug the power and see if the coil get red. It looked good. Used oven few times it works fine. changing the part itself was easy, but the sheet metal covering the whole back of the oven was difficult to remove because of some screws that were stripped. The new sensor solved the problem.

due to the cooktop age, part was not an exact duplicate. I had to drill new holes in the stainless steel for mounting and ground wire. I used a lot of kitchen matches to heat the shrink tubes over the twist connectors. I should have gotten a heat gun or torch.

This is a built-in oven, so the biggest problem was figuring out how to remove it from the cabinet. The solution turned out to be removing the cooktop above it and unscrewing two screws that connected the oven to the inside of the cabinet. The old socket was recessed behind the second back, making it virtually impossible to access the metal "wings" that hold it in place, so I ended up pulling out the socket assembly from inside the oven with pliers.

since I only had one of two screws, i installed with just the one. it would not work at all using a slightly longer screw, which is very odd.

My first approach was to try to find some help on the internet - Y-Tube or whatever. When I could not find anything, I was on my own. My first thought was that the best and easiest access to the switch was to somehow remove the top section of the range which held the switch. I was trying to avoid having to pull the range from the wall and ... Read more cabinets. But not finding any way to do that, I then pulled the range from the wall, and removed the back panel (8 screws), which gave me easy access. Once that was done, the replacement went smoothly and quickly. So if replacing any switches on this range, FIRST pull it from the wall and THEN remove the back panel, and the rest is a piece of cake!

First, I turned off the power at the switch box. Moved the stove out (That was a problem, because I am 80 years young) Removed the back panel, and moved the wires one at a time to the new switch.
