    Our Whirlpool is not even 18 mos. Old and stopped working. It will start the cycle, fill the tub with water, then just stall. The lights stay on, but nothing happens. There's no blockage with the drain hose, because it drains fine. Thanks in advance!

    Hello Jon, thank you for your question. There are a few parts we would reocmmend testing first to determine if they have failed. They are the PartSelect Number PS11743423 Thermostat, PartSelect Number PS8260087 heating element, PartSelect Number: PS11770231 pump and motor and the sensor PartSelect Number PS12070543. If those parts are tested and are fine, the issue would most likely be with the electronic board. I hope this helps.

It certainly sounds like it could be a faulty heating element PS8260087 and/or possibly a faulty high limit thermostat PS11743423, you should check for signs of damage, and replace if necessary.     Hello Bill, Thank you for the question. If the appliance starts and fills and then does not start the Wash Cycle, you may have a defective Control Board, PartSelect Number PS11765864. The Board controls the timer cycles. We hope this helps!

    I have a problem the spray wand will not turn at all. I thought the inlet valve needed to be changed because I thought it wasn't getting water to spin but every time I start the machine it fills with water and the spray arms stay in the same location.

      Step 1: Remove the screws in the bottom of the countertop.

      Step 2: Remove the screws holding the bottom kickplate.

      Step 3: Loosen leveling legs.

      Step 4: Pull dishwasher out of hole.

      Step 5: Unlplug dishwasher.

      Step 6: Disconnect wires from bottom of element in back.

      Step 7: Remove plastic nuts holding element in place.

      Step 8: Remove element.

      Step 9: Reverse Steps 1-7.

      Step 10: Drink beer.

      Lost dishwasher brackets
      I called an experienced plumber, who balanced and installed my new dishwasher properly, using the brackets I ordered from Parts Select, after an INEXPERIENCED plumber had tossed the factory-provided mounting brackets out with the shipping carton. Relief!

      Door will fall down after opening
      unscrewed dishwasher from cabinet ...,moved out slightly....while door closed ...reached with long nosed pliers door spring pulled forward...and allowing white plastic part that fits through sleeve and fit new sleeve over it...pulled spring attaching white plastic part and pushed unit back to cabinet and replaced screws DONE.
