WDF331PAMS0 Whirlpool Dishwasher - Instructions

Remove power source, then remove old power cord.Run new power cord through existing opening ang attach to existing power box on bottom o f dishwasher. Install electrical leads and device ground. Reinstall cabinet bottom. Check out operation by running a cycle. All ok!

I manually attached the track stop to the right track in the disheasher.

Replaced the pump.That wasn't the problem --- if I had it to start over, I'd pull the drain hoses and run the dishwasher to see what water is flowing where. I had a clogged drain --- and maybe something else. Still working through the details.

1. Open dishwasher door, to access the screws holding dishwasher to cabinet.... remove these screws.
2. May need to shut water off and unscrew water line and waste line (if they aren't long enough because you will need to pull dishwasher out.

5. crescent wrench to unscrew the plastic screws in back
6. Disconnect two wires going to element
7. Replace element... reverse steps
8. Not too bad at all

removed unit from cabinet disconnected water and drain lines replaced heater very easy to do it took more time to remove unit from under counter than replace heater piece of cake..

Pulled the dishwasher out and took the two door balance links off and put the new ones on and attached to the spring. It was very quick and easy

Our dishwasher's top rack would pull too far out which made it hard to stay in alignment. It had lost it's track stop. Removing and installing the new part was fairly simple. We removed the water hose first since it is the easiest to see. We then removed the screw holding the part to the metal frame. We slid out the part out of the holder to remove the black hose and electric plug (it is like the old phone jacks). After it was completely off we plugged in ... Read more the electric to the new part which was very easy since it can only go in one way. We slid the new part in place and attached the black hose. We attached the piece to the frame with the one screw and last we attached the gold (garden hose) connection. We turned on the water to look for any leaks then turned the power on and ran it through a partial rinse to be sure there were no leaks.

Followed directions here. Extremely easy repair.

I just snapped the old one off and snapped the new one on..

pulled it out, saw 'pulley' was fine, and put cord on spring and puled it enough to hook it on other end.end after running cord around the 2 pulleys, as it was on the other side. push it back and done.

You said the repair was easy and would take around 5 minutes to perform. You were spot on and the instructional video really helped do the job.

Just like the video; remove the 2 nuts off the kick plate, remove the 2 screws under the counter, pull the unit out, ease the spring off the cable, nut drive the pully assembly's off, install the new ones, place new rope/cable from the door arms onto pullys, attach the spring, push the unit back into place, replace screws and the kick pla ...
