Need to replace all 5 knobs, is there a set that i can purchase?
For model number WCG97US0DS00
Hello Manny, thank you for reaching out. The compatible knob for your given model is part number PS11756643. Unfortunately, these are not sold as a set and only come individually. You will need to order five of these to replace all the knobs on your appliance. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
The knob was ordered from the original knob and it should have fit. It was the right color but was too small to fit valve on stove. Also, it didn't have any markings on the rim to identify start, lo, high etc. After returning knobs three times I was determined I was not going to return another one if I could make this one fit.I used pliers to squeeze the valve a tiny bit and then the knob fit. I put it on the 5th burner which I rarely use so it doesn't matter if it isn't marked. If I did have to use it I could just judge by the flame if it was at the right setting for me.After having this range for only a couple of years or so I have decided that I wouldn't order another one like it if I needed a new stove. There are a couple other things I didn't like about it so add them all up and opinion has been formed.I do have to say that this company has been wonderful about helping me out though.
First step is to turn gas off to cook top and also disconnect power to the unit. Than using a crescent wrench disconnect the gas line going to the unit from the Regulator. Than again using the crescent wrench disconnect the regulator from the bottom of the unit. Next remove the nipple that connects the gas line to the regulator from the old unit. Apply new pipe dope to the threads and screw it into the new one and tighten down. Next install the regulator to the unit and install the gas line to the regulator. once done with the install you can now plug the unit in and turn on the gas. You are now ready to use the cook top again
