our stove top had a couple of issue with its knobs. one got slightly burnt and anotther the knob was stripped.
on a previous time we went to the manufactures sight and picked out the knob based on its physical appearance. they had 2 choices. one was cheap another more expensive. we chose the more expensive one. The appearance was exactly the same. However, when the knobs arrived the offset of the hole (the slant that makes it grab the post) was in a different position than our stove. The result being instead of the arrow pointing to off, it pointed to the Light position. This didn't mean we couldn't use the knobs, just that they no longer pointed to the original.
this time when ordering we used your service. The lady was VERY patient while we struggled to find the part number. The number was etched on the bottom side of the knob. But, it was in print so small as to be microscopic. We had already packed our magnifying glass and struggled to read the tiny, tiny numbers. Eventually by using a bright flashlight and holding the knob close to our eye in an offset manner we were able to read enough of the many digiits so that your operator could locate the part among the many hundreds the company had for this knob.
On arrival, I opened the package, removed the old knobs and slipped the new ones into place. It was like magic. The knobs slid on correctly, pointed to the OFF position and worked perfectly. I could not have found these knobs without the aide of your very patient staff worker.
thank you so much, we were able to sell our home and did not have to see disappointment in the face of the new owners when they looked at the stove top and it looked as good as new.

Not quite right
The knob was ordered from the original knob and it should have fit. It was the right color but was too small to fit valve on stove. Also, it didn't have any markings on the rim to identify start, lo, high etc. After returning knobs three times I was determined I was not going to return another one if I could make this one fit.I used plier
... Read mores to squeeze the valve a tiny bit and then the knob fit. I put it on the 5th burner which I rarely use so it doesn't matter if it isn't marked. If I did have to use it I could just judge by the flame if it was at the right setting for me.After having this range for only a couple of years or so I have decided that I wouldn't order another one like it if I needed a new stove. There are a couple other things I didn't like about it so add them all up and opinion has been formed.I do have to say that this company has been wonderful about helping me out though.

We've ordered these before from amazon. The first time they fit perfectly, the second time not at all. Same part number(w10594481) but the end is different: Cav 1, 2 & 6 fit. Cav 4 & 5 don't. Which is this? Why do these parts break so often? We've been in this new house with new appliances for less than 3 years, and only have 1 functioning knob currently, having replaced a couple a year ago...
any help is appreciated.

Does this knob have control markings on it? Ignite, low, etc.

Are the original plastic control knobs covered under our warranty for replacement? 4 out of the 5 plastic knobs have cracked

Your description says made of stainless steel. If it’s an original part. Mine are plastic. The price is outrageous for a small piece of plastic. Please I update the description to be accurate.
