VM9B-8 Magic Chef Microwave - Instructions

Unscrewed the cover of the microwave replaced the blown fuse with the new fuse, plugged in the microwave and tested all functions and everything worked fine. Thx for quick delivery.

I simply looked at the new switch , to see how it fastened in the stove. It had plastic clips that were easily depressed to allow the swithch to be removed. I removed it , (after turning the circuit breaker off to the stove) removed the three wires , and replace them on the new switch and simply pushed it in the space. It snapped in place ... I didn't. Don't know how to get to light bulb to change it for this specific model

unscrew microwave's cover,test the fuse which is located at top rear left side, the fuse is inside a plastic tube,if the fuse is burnout,just replace it.

It is really easy to replace IF you know that the tabs that hold the switch in are ON THE TOP AND NOT ON THE SIDES. I wasted a lot of time prying on the sides to get the switch out. It would have been really easy if I had known the tabs were on the top and bottom.

Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

Dishwasher front still leaking

The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new ligh ... 1. Unscrewed glass cover on bulb
2. Removed old bulb
3. Screwed in new bulb
4. Replaced glass cover
5. Mixed drink & baked cupcakes

My husband took the plastic cover off and took out old bulb and screwed in the new one. Then put the cover back on.

I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.
