This disc fits in between the duckbill valve and the locking cap and features a 1-inch diameter. If you notice the suction tube for your paint roller remains unseated within its respective port, or if the suction is poor, consider inspecting and replacing this disc. To replace this disc, ensure there is no paint within the handle of the paint roller, before unthreading the locking cap on the suction port. Once the locking cap is removed, disconnect and remove the retainer disc and replace it with the new disc.
