8" burner would get red hot (High) with knob set on 4 or 5, them cool back down to the correct setting. In a few minutes it would be red hot again.
Removed bottom drawer. Pulled Range out away from the wall. Unplugged Range. Removed 6 screws from top back cover. Removed top back cover to reveal the Infinite Switches behind the knobs. Pulled the knobs off of the Switches I wanted to change. Removed the 2 Phillips Head screws holding each switch. Pulled the wires off of the old Infinite Switch and put them on the new Infinite Switch. I was careful to put each wire on the correct terminal from old to new switch. I then reassembled the Range in reverse order. I changed both 8" Burner Infinite Switches. I was only having trouble with 1 switch. But, upon inspection. Both Switches had burn marks on the top left of the switch.

Baking Element in oven stopped working.
My husband and I pulled the stove away from the wall and unplugged it. We felt it was safer to unplug the stove rather than turn off the breaker. My husband disconnected the baking element and checked the lead wires coming into the oven to see if they were damaged but they were not. He fitted the new baking element to the lead wires and tightened the screws on each side. It was really easy to repair and the video we watched on the internet really helped. As a Mom who bakes a lot, and I wanted to make sure that the oven temp was correct so I tested the temp three different times with my oven thermometer. Each time the oven temp was accurate. Parts Select Service Department was most helpful and I received the part within two days. I highly recommend them and I would use them again.

Element would not preheat and a hotspot appeared on it.
First observed how the element attached to the oven. Then unplugged the range. Unscrewed it at both ends using my nutdriver. At the connection clips, simply pulled the element end away from the electrical wire it attaches to. Used a pair of pliers to pry loose the clips. Once separated, slightly bent the wire so it would not slip back into the hole that goes into the back of the range. Did this on both sides. Reversed the process to attach the replacement. That process is insert the wires into the connection clips, push the wires back into the range, reattach the element to the oven wall with the original screws, plug in the range. I commend PARTSSELECT for rapid delivery.

Bake Element Burned out
Used nutdriver to remove two screws located on the back inside of oven. I had to remove two push on connections and reconnect to new element connections and reinsert screws. Mission accomplished. However, I did have to remove the metal cover on the back of the stove because the element connection wires slipped back behind the oven wall. No problem at all. Also, I saved at least $10.00 or more by ordering it through Frigidaire instead of acquiring it from Sears where I bought the appliance and received the part within two days delivered to my front door. Thanks for a job well done.

Element was fried!
The element wasn't heating - I noticed it was cracked apart in two places! We got the replacement part and pulled the stove out, unplugged it, unscrewed the back panel and pulled out the broken element. Reattached the new element and repeat the above steps in reverse - done! It's working like new again.

Heating Element Just Died
We have never been homeowners before and as renters the landlord always handled these issues. Now we are the landlord of our own home. When the heating element in the oven went out we knew one thing...we wanted to fix this issue as affordably as possible. Partselect not only had the best price for a replacement element, but the do-it-yourself video showed us step by step how to do this. The only other thing we had to buy was the 1/4" nut driver because we did not have one. We had the job done in less than ten minutes....and we've been baking ever since. The only advice I would give is to have a second person standing by to flash a light while unscrewing and rescrewing in the attachment plates. We will use this sight again for other minor household repairs.

The element had cracked and a piece broke off, so it would not turn on.
It was simple. I found the part online with install instructions. I was able to just remove the 2 screws which held the element in and disconnect the 2 connections. Made the 2 connections to the new element and put screws back. All went great and in less than 15 minutes.

baking element didn't heat
Watched the video on parts select. Ordered the part. It arrived earlier than expected. Pulled stove out and cleaned under and all around then installed the element as the video instructed. Pluged the stove back in, pushed it back in place and it worked. This took approximately 30 min. Probably saved me $100 and many days.

Cracked baking element.
First off, I ordered the part on a Sunday afternoon and received it Tuesday morning with the regular shipping option, simply amazing! The repair was even simpler! - Unplugged the stove. Removed the racks. Unscrewed two screws and disconnected the two electrical ends of the baking element. Removed the old baking element, reattached new element to electrical and secured the screws. Put the racks back and plugged it back in. Total time maybe five minutes tops. Also, the "repair video" for this part was a great reference. Peace of cake!

The baking element went out on my oven
After pulling the unit away from the wall & unplugging it, I removed the racks to give more room in the oven, I removed two Phillips head screws, pulled the element less than 2 inches to expose the electrical connectors, pulled them off the element ends, removed the baking element from the oven, installed the new element, plugged in the connectors to the element, pushed the ends in less than 2 inches, replaced the Phillips head screws, reinstalled the racks, plugged the unit in, slid the appliance back in place.
