TDB210RFS5 Tappan Dishwasher - Instructions

Completly disconnected and layed dishwasher on its side for better access. New valve support was 1 inch longer than original but created no problem. it took no more than 30 min. to complete job.

pulled out dishwasher ,left lines hooked ,started cicle .heard pump.took apart.seen problem. order new one ,works like new..

I removed the door panel and ran the dishwasher to determine where it was leaking. Ordered the parts. When parts arrived I removed door in order to get at the bottom door gasket, replace it, and removed the tube gasket and replaced it with new parts. Read more o found that the return tube gasket at the top of the dishwasher was leaking and repaired that by making a new gasket out of a flat piece of rubber and an o-ring. All leaks have been repaired. With regards to the return tube issue, it may have only been loose and if so, I could have just tightened the return tube outlet and gotten the same results. 1.Removed slide out dishes baskets, removed inside plastic food screen (just to clean) and disconnected electrical plug and hot water connection under the sink. 2. Read more ical connectors from the old drain pump, unscrewed it (torx screws) from the drain pump retainer bracket and replaced it with the new drain pump. 5. Cleaned the water jet pump (got all the accumulated crud out from the "impellers") and reinserted it in the dish washer. 5. Turned the dishwasher upright and reattached the hot water hose (using plumbers tape) and the electrical plug. 6. Finished pushing the dishwasher back under the counter, reattached the retaining screws to the counter top, turned it on and basked in the quietness of the dishwasher.

I used both epoxy on the male threads and then pulled out the case and twisted the flat car body flat kind of a nut. Let it sit for 36 hours and now like new.

Removed old hose and went to install new hose from Part Select. Part received was not the same as advertised. It was 6-8 inches shorter than the original hose. Would not make the necessary turns because of shorter length. I even went to Video instruction on installation even though I have been in Machine repair for 30 years , this video s ... Read more howed using the shorter hose and when installed in the video hose also had a kink because of hose length. Had to stop repair and go to hardware store and purchase a longer hose. This purchased hose from the hardware was 50% cheaper and actually worked. I also paid for 2-3 day shipping and received part 7 days later. I am very disappointed with Parts Select and am an owner of an Equipment Rental Facility and will never utilize Parts Select again.

turned off electricity, pulled dishwasher out about a foot, turned off water too dishwasher, removed inlet valve and replaced it with new.

I think the videos on the site are awesome. Made both repairs after watching them. They explain the repairs in a simple to follow way.

Removed two screws,one on each side of the bottom part of the door. The door cover then comes off. Then 6 screws hold on the dispenser. Shut off power and remove two wire connections. Replace dispenser. Replace lower door cover and two screws. Done.

Removed the two screws that mount to count top pulled the dishwasher out to see how the spring was attached , installed the new spring and the job was done the job it took about 15 mins. to complete.

New piece snapped right on

The old gasket was worn. I pulled out the old one, put in the new gasket. I trimmed the ends to fit and that was it.

Took out the two retaining screws and pulled the unit forward. Took the old door strike out and put in the new one. This site is where I go for all my appliance repair parts!!!

First of all, I got the part 24 hours after I ordered it. That in it self was a feat. Second, I followed everyone elses instructions, pulled the old gasket out with a pair of needle nose pliers, cleaned the area as good as I could, found the notch for the slot on the gasket to slide into and viola...it slid in and stayed in.
