Remove the lower dish rack, and remove the filter and screen. Using a screwdriver, remove the 4 screws that attach the bottom wash arm, and lift off. Remove the retaining screw on the rubber boot. Slide the boot off of the square steel tubes (there is a metal clamp around this connection, you may need to use pliers to open it. The cla mp mechanism is a simple latch that you have to push apart from the two tabs). Open the clamp that came with the replacement part and examine the mechanism to see how it needs to be oriented to secure it. Slide the new boot on, close and latch the clamp. Replace the retaining screw, then the main bottom wash arm with it's 4 screws, the replace the screen and filter and bottom rack.

Saw a YouTube video that explained the problem was the pump. Removed dishwasher from under the counter, flipped it on its side, and unplugged the unit. Removed bottom cover and the pump is right there. Used pliers to lose and move 3 hose clamps. Unplugged 3 wires and unscrewed the ground. Unhooked rubber hold downs and removed. Inst alled new pump. Parts Select pricing was best I found and shipping was fast. Nice to have a quiet house again when running the dishwasher. Cost in total was less than $100.

The parts are wrong and am trying to return them. There was no return information included with delivery. Calling the Customer Service number for assistance did not work.

I would just like to return these rollers and would like a return address.

Thank you!

This was my first time repairing a dishwasher. I watched YouTube on how to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet. Afterwards, I removed the bottom of the dishwasher while it was laying flat to get to the motor and micro switch. The only difficulty I had was getting to the motor which required taking the bottom section off of the dishwash er. I could not get an appliance repair company to work on an LG dishwasher. My only option was to repair the dishwasher or bought a new dishwasher. Therefore, my wife and I decided to , make an attempt to repair this one with a backup plan of buying a new one. Luckily, we were able to fix this one within two hours.

This was a $999 dishwasher. We saved the cost of a new dishwasher by taking the time to fix this one.

Two installed roller wheels came off and broke.

I ordered four wheels to replace the two that were broken and to have two as spares. The wheels are to be snapped onto the bottom of the lower basket. The new wheels broke upon being installed. My extra wheels came in handy. I put them in very hot water for a few minutes to soften the plastic. I put a little Vaseline on the post they were to be attached to. The wheels then slid on and snapped correctly.

you need to carefully apply a little pressure to the rail moving it back towards the back of the tub, this will let it unhook from the tub, then just slide the new rail into place.
