SF380LEKT0 Whirlpool Range - Instructions

The nylon roller was very easy to install. Although rather pricey for what the part was, it was shipped immediately and got the job done. Took all of 5 minutes to do. I wish all my repair jobs were that easy.

Unscrewed the old part and replaced it with the new part.
My son repaired it for me.

It was alittle difficult at 1st to remove the clips that held in the socket. But once out everything went smoothly.

1st gen whirlpool Duet dryer sensor not working in automatic cycle.
After ordering the moisture sensor harness which is about 6-8 inches long, I removed the lower panel and it is right there. After we put the latch pins in, the door was easily lifted off. We placed the door on the table and unscrewed the trim pieces. The new trim pieces went into place after we cleaned the door. We slipped the door back on the oven and removed the hinge pins.

Unscrewed old pan and screwed on new one.

Pop old one out and new one in

Replace the gas valve. It is simple to replace, but please note that it comes configured for Natural Gas. If you are using Propane, there are two changes you need to make first.

1. Remove and invert the gas pressure regulator. See page 11 of the owners manual.

2. Tighten down the orifice hood all the way about 2 1 ... Read more /2 turns. It comes configured to stick farther up into the air mixer. See page 12.

Unplugged stove.
Pulled stove out.
Unscrewed screws and removed cover.
Removed & replaced sensor.
Reinstalled cover & screws.
Plugged in stove and pushed back in.
Only problem was when I pulled stove out, lid opened and disconnected the gas line to a burner.

replaced light socket but did not repair problem. must have burned the motherboard.

The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new ligh ... Turned off CB for the oven,Remove the oven from the cabinet , remove the back of the oven, replaced the light Assembly. turned on CB for the oven, tested the light. and truned off the CB and replace the back and reinstalled the oven in the cabinet.

It was worth the money for that little screw, since I didn't have to run all over trying to find the right one.

1. Unscrewed glass cover on bulb
2. Removed old bulb
3. Screwed in new bulb
4. Replaced glass cover
5. Mixed drink & baked cupcakes
