Unpacked glass plate from cardboard box and placed atop rotating spindle inside oven - done.

Removed tray from shipping container and installed in the microwave.

Placed the new tray in the microwave.

Opened the lid over the bulb by removing one screw. Removed old bulb; a bayonet type with delicate prongs. Inserted new bulb. Best to turn off circuit breaker toi the micro for safety reasons.

I'm writing because I have never in my life had such an easy time finding a part, ordering it, and receiving it! Your service is truly unbelievable. I still don't believe it and I experienced it. Nothing went wrong and it could not have been easier. Please don't go away.

PartSelect had helpful repair instructions on-line which made the repair easier and faster. Unfortunately, there were other problems with the oven that immediately blew the new fuse I had just installed. It was then determined that additional repair would most likely cost almost as much as a new microwave.

It took some tugging to get the old bulb out, and is was awkward getting the prongs on the replacement bulb lined up and pushed in, but it was accomplished in about 10 minutes. After reading reviews that there was no power what so ever and a fuse replacement will solve the problem, I tried it. Replacing the fuse is very easy (and I am not handy at all). All you have to do is remove the microwave cover from the top by removing two screws, slide the cover to the left and pulling the cover off. Then remove the g ... Read more rill in front of you, by removing one or two screws. The fuse is in front of you, use pliers and be firm but gentle. Replacing the fuse is easy but it did not solve my problem.

Took item from sealed box and removed protective bubble wrap. Placed tray in microwave, aligning tray with turntable sprockets. Perfect fit, perfect match! And the part arrived in three days and was very competitively priced. What more is there to stay? Will use PartSelect for other replacement parts. No brainer!

Very easy replacement. Just lift out and replace with a new one!
