Tubing, Rubber (3in)
Part #9477212
This 3-inch-long flexible rubber tubing connects the fuel filter to the carburetor of your handheld lawn equipment, ensuring a clean and uninterrupted fuel supply for combustion. If broken, it may leak fuel due to cracks or holes, and the engine can stall, idle roughly, or have difficulty starting. If the damaged rubber tubing is not replaced, it can allow contaminants to enter the fuel system and clog the carburetor. It may also result in fuel starvation, causing the engine to run lean and potentially overheat. To remove the rubber tubing, first, ensure the engine is shut off and cooled down. Remove the wire and boot from the spark plug. Lift the tab on the air filter cover to release it, then remove the cover. Using a flathead screwdriver, pull the tubing from the carburetor ports. Use a torx bit to unthread the mounting screws that secure the fuel tank. Once the fuel tank is detached, you can fully disconnect the tubing. Keep in mind that this OEM replacement part is sold individually, so make sure to confirm the quantity needed for your machine before making a purchase.
